Believe me, I have, too. But in one of the first episodes Jeng said something about it to Pat, so I was kind of hoping Pat would be crying for a different reason. Not sure why I didn't see it in the trailer.
Is that a guess, or do you know somehow? I hope it isn't something like that because it just makes him look weak at work again in front of Jeng. For a minute, I was hoping that Put left him again, but then Put walked around the corner, so I don't think so.
This series has a lot of potential, but this episode wasted a lot of time with dumb situations. The shrimp nugget…
Some of these scenes do seem pretty pointless. The time with the mother didn't exactly add anything to the plot. We already know Jaab is heartbroken. And there was no interaction with Jen. Also, we got another really awkward scene with Pat and Jing in front of the elevators. Pat was making his faces again. What was the big deal? Either eat with him or say no! And we pretty much saw Put coming. In fact, this isn't the first time Put asked to get back with Pat, so Pat shouldn't be surprised. I'm wondering, though. Pat must really not realize that Jeng has any interest in him or I don't think he would consider going back to Put.
I am also a writer, and that makes sense, but Ki Jin dropping Yeong Woo like that with no explanation doesn't.…
The last thing you said struck me because, normally, when people are grouching about a character not doing the right thing in a book, I get annoyed because it's life to make mistakes and grow. I could completely accept the scenario you give above for Ki Jin's behavior, and, in a book, that reason would have been evident. Here, I feel the viewer is left scrambling for the reason, which is bad script writing, imo. More than likely, if the story came from a book, the author did a better job. Still, I liked the show. I was touched by the best friend's unrequited feelings, too. (i still wish the backstory had been explained. I wasn't sure if they'd been together and Yi Bin left, or what. He did say, "I left first," which made me think he broke it off--perhaps why Yeong Woo was crying. Perhaps at that moment Yeong Woo was pointing out that, in their relationship, Yi Bin had left first, but this time Yi Bin was leaving.)
Okay my brain feels like it is split into two rn. I fully understand the experience of the viewers, BUT I also…
I am also a writer, and that makes sense, but Ki Jin dropping Yeong Woo like that with no explanation doesn't. I think the writers should have found a way to fix that. A break up with an adult conversation, maybe.
I'm so confused. What happened in the past between the friend and Yeong Woo? Why wasn't it explained? And when they first ran into each other, Yeong Woo couldn't get away fast enough but didn't even blink when Yi Bin walked into the bedroom that first day after Yeong Woo had spent the night with Ki Jin. Also, it appeared that Ki Jin did not go to NY with Yi Bin. So, why didn't he call Yeong Woo? Why did he just drop him like that? For a YEAR? Why wasn't it explained to Yeong Woo...to US? And the button...what Ki Jin said at the end. He pulled Yeong Woo's button off his shirt, said, "I finally found it," and sewed it back on. Huh? I remember the whole button thing at the beginning, but how does that make sense? If it weren't for these things, I would have enjoyed this story. I don't mind only eight episodes if it's done well, but this left me wondering what the heck happened. Most of all, I don't understand Ki Jin dropping Yeong Woo like that when he didn't even go to NY. (The only reason I think he didn't go is because the airline ticket was crumpled up and Yi Bin went alone."
Krit is called เทวดา (taywada) which is used to refer to angel or deity similar to angel in Thai Buddhism.…
Thanks for the explanation. As of now, I have yet to find ep 3 with English subtitles, so I haven't seen any more than than the first 2 episodes. I lol'd when I saw Met's face in the back seat of the car when Phum and Krit kissed!
Tai vomited on Phat. Then Phat took Tai back to his apt and kissed him. Several bl's I've seen have done this--had one guy kiss the other after he vomited without any teethbrushing or mouthwash happening first.
I can't enjoy romantic scenes when one of them has thrown up and not brushed his teeth. That is just revolting.…
I agree with the first part of what you said. I couldn't help but think--he threw up on Patt. Then, when they kissed, I kept thinking about that. At least it wasn't a deep kiss. After that, I kept wondering how Tai ends up with his clothes changed and in the bed. I also thought Patt would ask Tai when he figured out that Patt was his soulmate. But I do think they have chemistry. I really enjoyed this episode. If I were the director, I would have had them clean up and change (and brush teeth) before that kiss, though. It's also kind of weird that they kissed and Tai doesn't remember it.
It's so romantic. I'm really enjoying it. What is it with these bl's and after-vomit kisses, though? *cringe* Anyway, I love the main couple. But Thian is a childish jerk.
Really? My heart flipped when Jaab and Jen kissed! This episode was so good. I can't believe the show had an upturn…
I know everyone feels differently about these things. For me, a kiss that wasn't planned like that is different from other ways it might happen, but it needs to be addressed. If Jen/Jane (I've seen two different names for this guy) doesn't make a decision about his relationship after this, I feel he's doing wrong.
