On Mercy for None Jul 8, 2025
This was a good and fast-paced watched. I finished it in one sitting and just realized the last SJS drama I've watched was Oh My Venus but still nothing beats Master's Sun.

at the end of ep 4… why did Gi Jun take the blame for Gi Seoks act of murder? Seok said that he has his answer…
It's to secure Gi Seok's safety and ensure Gi Jun's departure from the criminal underworld.

i love Bae Doona. Also, I've really enjoyed this miniseries too. One thing for sure is if her name is on a project, it's bound to be good.

Finally watched this and overall solid drama with amazing actors, good writing, and a banger soundtrack. Kang Yo Han is definitely my favorite Ji Sung role thus far. The last morally grey character to leave me this speechless was Lelouch from Code Geass almost 20 yrs ago. In opposition is the fantastic Kim Min Jung as Jung Seona. She's such a great villain that her ending wasn't a surprise but disappointing. Rarely do I wish for a drama extension but this defintely needed one as the revelations certain characters had would've had more weight and the characterisation of them would've made more sense in the long run.

One of the best kdrama I've watched but it's also one of those projects like Grave of the Fireflies and Schindler's List where I can't just rewatch out of boredom or conveniences due to the heavy topic and emotionality.

Was an ok drama. I just had to drop logic and try to enjoy it. Anyway would have been better if they condense all 40 episodes into 27 or 30 episodes at the most as the second half was a pain to get through.

Entertainment aesthetics changes over time. Currently c ent is stuck in this super filtered and flawless pretty manwha/douyin look. Also, if only Brigitte Lin was 40 yrs younger, this would be a perfect role for her.

LMAOOO i was not expecting to see this comment bc for a brief second the idea crossed my mind too. i actually covered the bottom half of his face and i can see it although i still think CX looks like an older version of seventeen jeonghan from some angles.

The number of people I'm starting to dislike is rapidly increasing. Uncle Qi has now been added to the list he…
i felt the same. i also think that if Uncle Qi gets rid of Minister Xiao, GQF can be taken down easily since there's no backer for him if it turns out Uncle Qi betrays GQF by colluding w/Lei Jing. We knw GQF doesn't like his dad or the xiao fam but the old man will still support him for his own selfish gain.

Like literally who’s this ML? I never saw this actor before but he’s a FINE MAN. His manly behavior , stares,…
ML is Chen Xiao. He got married during the height of his popularity a few years ago and then also became a dad so he hasn't really been filming much. Some popular cdrama he has been in are Romance of the Condor Heroes (2014), Legend of Lu Zhen (2013), Queen Dugu (2019), Swordsman (2013), and Nothing Gold Can Stay (2017)
