I just watched the second episode and the lady told the man here is my phone number , am I crazy or were there phones in this time period ? I am skiing because I know it's a drama but it's a period piece should it not at least stay in the time period? Or am I wrong? Someone help me clarify please.

Does anyone know who played the evil producer it seems he always plays the villain. Anyone know if he plays any good guy roles I would really like to see if he can play a good character

I agree Krystal I think denise Ann needs a life she has way to much time on her hands. Commenting and reviewing is great but are we all not allowed our own opinion? If we think it's bad we can say so.

I am up to episode 5 can anyone tell me did I miss something? Is the picture on the wall of the leading lady or is she just a look alike. If it is was it taken in the first episodes? Or am I just imagining?

Does anyone know if the Queens aid was also in Princess hours as the crown princesses aid ? This is driving me nuts also I think the manager was in both dramas but can't find complete list of cast anywhere to compare. If anyone knows would appreciate .

I agree with you both the endings on C dramas and T dramas leave a lot of unanswered questions and don't always end like we would like.,however Kdramas are worse

I know this is a drama but does it bother anyone else that every movie about the Palace only has envious evil concubines and scheming royals . I would like to see one with a kind royal family or is there none in Chinese history. I hate the impressions writers in these dramas give of the Royals throw out history. Korean dramas are the same if I where Chinese or Korean or other Asian that would bother.

I think you got it right I liked the romance part but the rest was a little hard to take. I think the illegitimate daughter had some nerve and was a real schemer I am not finished but I hope she gets some karma, she did not even want her child then wanted justice after she threw herself down the stairs, a little over the top even for a drama. Your review got me interested in watching it.

I so agree with you the best C dramas are in the palace one The Imperial Doctress should be the one to watch

Seriously does this really make sense to anyone am I really the only person that this is way out there? The acting is so bad those crying scenes you have to blame directors for those bad scenes . This had a great concept and could have been a great drama, but the actress who is one of my favorites was to immature in this. I just did not like it.

Try YouTube when you can't find anywhere else Vikki has restrictions on fan subbed . Drama fever is also good as well

Seriously how manyvesions of this can we watch the oringinal Meteor Garden was the best I feel all the make overs are just a I imitation . Read that this versions producer claim it's not plagerism but it definetly is. This one only starts different and there is a crush on music teacher instead of model. However I was amazed that bullying in schools is the same every where.

This is one of the best versions of The Palace and the cast is great would love to know others opinion on this.
