I'm rooting for Minjae and Hyeim, but based on the teasers for the show, I think Hyeim will end up with Gyumin... I am also 99% sure that Lee Jiyeon will get a date with Minjae, so curious about their chemistry
I also thought of this! With that said, I'm hoping that Eunho/Hyeri will form a great bond with Hyeyeon
omg i don't think it's a coincidence! now, i'm really hoping that it's true because i'd like to see Eunho and Hyejoo have a great sisterly bonding! and if it's true, then Hyeri must be modeled after Hyejoo so we can make a case that Juyeon fell for Hyejoo's traits and we'll have a clean cut romance storylines.
Saw a lot of ppl complaining about Yuri and Eunho on the bird app. Can't help but think that they don't want the two to end up together because they don't find the actor attractive. I'm willing to bet millions that they would be more supportive if the actor is "conventionally attractive" smh
WTWIF was phenomenal. The best melo ever made imo (hard genre to get right). But writers can have very diverse…
Oh my gosh??? Now, I think I want to really watch it 😭 But based on the writer's interview, as to why there is a Joo Eun Ho and a Joo Hye Ri, I'm really optimistic. I hope the short episode count won't make the series suffer
the weather was fine was so good. every side characters had their own heartwarming stories & screentime.
Oh, that's nice to hear! I think that shows the care the the writer has for each character... It's convincing me to watch it. Were they all good people, the characters I mean?
Has anyone watched the writer's previous work "When the Weather Is Fine"? Is it good? Do other supporting characters get quality writing and sufficient screentime? Asking because I'm also really excited with Kang Hoon's and Jo Hyejoo's characters and their storyline...
I think so too. When two people become interested in each other, their feelings are reciprocated and the next…
This is exactly what I think! You said all the perfect words. The difference between the way YJ behave with CJ and the way she behaves with JW is clearly noticeable, which feels quite unfair yet understandable. It would certainly be interesting to see their decisions and the aftermath.
Look in close broooo , relax you just watch what they show you in the episodes, your into this deep relax 😌…
My choice of words might have led and might lead to an understanding 😅 I was merely expressing my observations because I have seen a lot of people portray JW x YJ's relationship as perfect and that they will have a happily ever after (and they might be). But I was just saying what I thought—and it was that YJ and perhaps most viewers have idealized JW and what the relationship between the two could be far too much... I believe I can say this as a casual viewer who enjoys the show in a light-hearted manner but not religiously invested in it.
I can't genuinely root for Ju Won and Yu Jung because she seems to have put him on a pedestal... like she has formed an ideal version of him... And Ju Won still falters in front of Seo Kyung. I agree with Yong Jin with him saying that Chang Jin is fully dedicated to Yu Jung, but YJ's having a high regard for her idealized version of JW makes her have very high expectations of CJ... On the surface JW x YJ seem to be perfect for each other, but when you look in close, it's not so perfect and sure
omg same!!! but i'm seriously hoping that they won't k*ll off seo eun soo's character here... 🤞🏻
Yeah, I saw that too which made me very excited! Have you seen their stills in the library too? But then, since she's his wife, they can choose to harm her to have an impact on the story and the character so I hope I'm worrying for nothing 🙏🏻
I really enjoy this drama... unexpected for me, but true. However, I can't help but wonder, "what if the writer made different decisions?" I can't help but wonder, "what if the drama had more engaging and loveable supporting characters?" "What if the drama leaned more into the absurdism of the situation, of the spells?" "What if the drama focused on the romcom side of the drama?"
There are times that I find it difficult to enjoy the drama because the awful supporting characters upset me. Moreover, most story decisions appear and feel somewhat contrived. They lack nuance. They are simply all kinds of cliche. Like, they make the shocking twist of Nayeon cheating with the Haum CEO to make whatever Shinyu and Hongjo is doing (they're cheating tbh) somewhat acceptable and okay???
Then, Jaekyung's sudden change of attitude is not well-executed. I somehow understand his intentions and reasoning because I read his character description, but what about for others who didn't??? The development felt forced. It lacked substance that's why many find him annoying.
And the co-workers, mygosh, I really want to love them but they're still annoying from time to time. If they were kind and funny, I'm certain that the drama would be much more enjoyable. I understand why they have to be mean to her to emphasize Hongjo's loneliness in life, but I need her to be fully accepted in her team now and have fun. It's been eight episodes now!
Oh, and I remember really enjoying episode four wherein they really leaned into the absurd elements and and romcom side of the drama. Like, they should make Shinyu do more of those cringy things, Rowoon is surprisingly a great comedic actor! But anyways, I really love Boah and Rowoon's chemistry so I keep coming back for this drama.
Also, I'm really loving the story between Shinyu's mom and his attorney friend. It's one of the most unique story decisions they can make. It's so entertaining and the potential for the comedic mess it will bring is exciting to see!
Really hope that they won't make Im Semi's character a damsel in distress and won't kill her to further motivate Ji Changwook's character or something...
omg chowon's going to meet doyoon's brother, dojin in the next episode!!! i'm so excited!!! also, since there will be a carnival scene, the scene wherein doyoon looked at chowon and said that she looks beautiful may also air next week!!! ahhhhhhh so excited for chowon and doyoon
Due to the still cuts released, many people are thinking that the scene wherein Chowon told Doyoon that he is a good boy will already come out, but I think that it's too soon. I feel like the scene wherein Chowon will pat Doyoon's head (according to the stillcut) is about Chowon being drunk and Doyoon coming to the rescue and agreeing to date her because she won't remember anyways... that's just my two cents
I love almost everything about this show! HOWEVER, I HATE IT THAT THEY'RE PITTING WOMEN AGAINST EACH OTHER, JUST BECAUSE OF THAT AWFUL MAN 🥴 They're even trying to pit the daughters against each other ugh 😫
I'm not sure if it's due to the fact that it's only the beginning, but I was hoping to see more medical scenes to support Jungsook's claim that being a doctor is such a noble profession. Nonetheless, I really enjoy the dynamics between the characters.
For now, the characters I find annoying (the narcissistic cheater Inho, the disingenuous Inho's mom, the mistress Seunghee, the bratty daughter Yirang, and the bossy female resident Sora) are more than the characters I like (Jungsook, Jungsook's mom, Roy, Jungmin, and Mihee).
Hopefully soon, Jungsook will have more support system in the hospital other than Roy and her son, Jungmin.
Jung Shik is already too full of himself he doesn’t need a girlfriend 😁
Come to think of it, you're actually right! And Hyung Geun's story with his wife has ended quite beautifully so I suppose it would be exciting to explore his future endeavors
Glad to see more ppl here supportive of the two
