True dat. It's better than having to wait for a long time, or worse it will never be subbed. It helps I can understand a little bit of japanese. I'll finish this drama now!

I watched episode 9 with this subs... they aren't as good... but still understandable for the most part... however I would really prefer the original subbing... I wonder if the subber will ever continue it?

I love it. Definitely not a Nirvana in Fire, but it can hold on it's own.

they had fewer scenes than the sima yi couple, but when they do the chemistry is srsly off the charts!

Hi! I'm back to report that after a week, I've finally finished it. Best decision ever made. Like you said, it definitely felt like a journey. Before I knew it I was immersed in the drama, even when I barely understand the political stuff most of the time. Not your average historical cdrama and kinda unique! Certainly one of my faves, and I was actually thinking of rewatching it in the future. I want to start another drama, but I still find myself thinking about 3 kingdoms more often than not haha.

I'm still around ep16, and I'm really loving it so far and I kinda like the pacing. Would you advise me to keep on with this? Does it get much more better in the later eps, or will it fall into draggy/boring territory like other dramas? 54 eps is kinda long, but I watched Nirvana in Fire which was also lengthy but totally worth it, and I also saw Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms which wasn't perfect, but in the end, the pros outweighed the cons.

It has been a while since I last saw the drama so I got lost for a moment, but I caught on with the main plot and the characters roles as the movie goes. This movie was great. The quality is above average and the acting top notch. There's something about Shun Oguri's acting that makes you glued on the screen. Even the rest of the cast did well. I never felt the 2 hour length of the movie, I wish there was more. For me NobuCon is one gem of a jdrama and I hope japan will make more dramas as amazing and quality as this... they're already rare. XD

aww thank you dounie for replying. I have paused watching BBJX around 3 months ago and I was rethinking of continuing it... did you like it? is it worth watching all those 40 eps? Like I said, I didn't particularly liked Ruoxi falling in love with a married man part, but is it worth to continue watching otherwise? does it get any better or worse?

Btw, thank you guys for taking the time to reply. Hmmm, just as I thought. I don't like draggy either, kinda prefer fast-paced drama... maybe this drama is not for me. I liked the first two eps though... maybe I should try watching one more ep to check if I still feel the same way...

You're not alone there. I think that was the last ep i had watched too before I called.it quits with these drama.. i just cant stomach the lead char falling in love with a married guy and her sister's husband at that... it just looks.so.immoral to me... i have an idea that she will not.likely end up with 8th but at that point in the story i just cant accept it.. its just bad form :(
