Just so people are aware: if you see this movie with English subtitles, Xiao Fei is Kris and Xiao Bo is Bobby; Mr. Six is Lao Pao Er (Liu Ye). I wanted you to know this because it can be confusing because they say the Chinese names, but these are the names you will see.
this is my unpopular opinion but....am I the only one who doesn't care about sun woo or his relationship with…
I see loads of chemistry between the two, but it's a more intellectual chemistry, stimulated less by romance and more by the mind. For instance, I love that Bora and Sunwoo place their academic priorities high. They both, even if they pout a bit, understand that academics and success are very important for who they want to be individually. They haven't lost that as a dating couple. Bora recognizes when Sunwoo needs time to study; Sunwoo gets that Bora is busy preparing for her future outside of educational settings. They love each other by acknowledging this and keeping each other accountable of it. For me, that's a greater chemistry than all the sweet kisses they've shared through the whole series. Honestly, it's the reason I love that couple so much. The maturity is fantastic.
It was incredibly hard to vote in certain categories this year. I had to choose between Choi Won Young and Do Kyungsoo as a villain. I mean, do you know how hard that was? It's like choosing between a red delicious and a golden delicious.
One of my hardest choices was for Best Supporting Actor. I love you Jisoo, but Park Bo Gum was in three great roles this year, and he just keeps getting better. (Go Taekkie, Go!)
I'm sad that Second Time Twenty Years Old isn't getting the recognition it deserves, but I found it to be the best of the romantic comedies (that were strictly romantic comedies, not romantic comedies with murder mysteries, or romantic "comedies" that touched on child abuse and psychological ramifications of it) and which featured an older cast.
My favorite comedy is Reply 1988, hands down. Actually, TvN needs it's own category-Comedies that are far better than anything on national networks- and let us choose which TvN comedy we like most because that Friday, Saturday timeslot has been fantastic since the summer.
Also, Six Flying Dragons will be next year's big winner. :)
the vote made me hate healer bcz people r voting cute actor but when you watch other dramas you know immediately…
WOW. I loved Healer and yes, while I like Ji Chang Wook's looks, that is in no way why I voted it for Best Drama. I loved the story; I loved the strong female characterization that allowed for vulnerability in strength. I liked the OST. I liked the relationship between Ahjumma and Healer. I loved it all. Please stop making it out that if your favorite wasn't chosen that it was because other viewers had a diminished brain capacity. It's offensive and revolting and reeks of hipster.
Bang Ji and Moo Hyul are my BroTP! I simply love them when they are united kicking corrupt politician ass! Perhaps we can find a way for them to time travel. I know a couple corrupt politicians whose asses need kicked.
It's interesting how this show makes you want to cheer for both the anti-hero (Bang Won) and the heroes. This is one of the main reasons that I think this will be my favorite saeguk. I like exploring Bang Won's mind and his inevitable greed. I like seeing Jeong Do Jeon's idealism and philosophy; it's too bad his idea of reform still hasn't been taken up in some mode today. The rich still get richer and the poor, poorer. The wealth is just now in money instead if land, vut we still fight against this injustice today. Those corrupt landowners are now the 1%.
I was always #TeamBoth, but I'm #TeamTaek leaning. I still love Jung Hwan, but Taek's really upped the ante the last few eps, and JH has stagnated a bit. More than this, though, is my love for the families. R88 really has made family the focus, and i can't help but feel like some things hit so close to home (especially with DS/SY's family). The part when they rejoiced about being debt-free is a day I long for, something I've waited 28 years, 11 months, 3 weeks and 1 day for my family. I bawled at that moment though it was a happy one.
The episodes are too long for me to be able to sit and pay attention. I'm sadly going to be dropping this drama…
No, I really won't. I do watch with 100% eng sub, get comfortable, and pay attention. The episode length doesn't bother me at all. Perhaps it's because I have always had impeccable concentration abilities (I can study for exams for 7 hours straight at times), but I really don't get why people think it's too long.

This is sad. I think the episode length is fine. I'm actually enjoying the length because then, I'm truly invested and I must make time to watch the show. Enjoy watching whatever else you're going to watch because it will probably pale in comparison to this.
This is the second drama this year where I want the female lead in a polyamorous relationship. Taek/DeokSun/JungHwan all aboard the this ship!
Really, I love both of the boys for different aspects of their personality. Jung Hwan acts tough but is a marshmallow and Taek is a marshmallow that is probably tougher than he seems.

Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you Taek
I'll be watching you
Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I'll be watching you
O can't you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches with every step you Taek~~
Taek me on (Taek on me)
I'll be gone
In a week or two~~
Episode 17 was boss-level epic.
