OMG this drama is killing me..! Have any of you read this article www. soompi .com/2013/12/11/reply-1994-episode-16-trailer-previews-seo-in-guk-and-jung-eun-jis-cameo-and-baro-confessing/#.UqiRR_TuJ1Y??…
I think he should get time soon. Remember, this is not R1997. The development of the side characters in R1994 is more vast, and therefore the show must keep that continuity and continue to establish its characters. The comment above neglects to understand that this show's foundation was the friendships, not the romance.
I went into R1994 with hesitation because R1997 is my favorite drama, but sure enough, I fell completely in love with this show! I love all the characters (but especially Chilbong and Samcheonpo), and I love the friendships between them. I also can't wait for the cameo appearance this week! XD Oh, and thanks Cheer, for your article!

I'm feeling better now. Thanks!
I don't even trust myself doing that in my neighborhood, let alone any road near me, particularly because I live by the highway. There are too many crazy drivers to risk my life.
Most of the time, I have to watch on TV. I agree that going to games is much more entertaining, but here, it is very expensive to go to anything professional. My pro baseball team has some of the lowest ticket prices in all of the Major Leagues, but in order to sit where I do (in the lowest level), tickets are 42 dollars a seat. Parking is 12 dollars, and food is generally 10-20 dollars a person. Also, because we live an hour away, we also have to factor in gas money. I got used to saving the money and watching on TV because I can wear what I want and enjoy an even closer view than at the game.
Samcheonpo is my favorite character in Reply 1994 because he's so real. I know a lot of people were dogging him…
I'm glad I'm not the only who sees this. He's a really great guy, and even though he's the "poor" one in 2013, I love that he still has that sweet chemistry with Yoon Jin and still looks just as in love with her as he is in the 1990s.
I didn't really care for the Notebook, so QIHM wins for me! I love Boong Do--Hee Jin and the InHyun couple.

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you until now; I had to have a tooth pulled on Friday morning. :(
For anyone who lives in Ohio, they have to have the dedication to be outside in that kind of weather because that's everyday life here, lol. We also have an extra season called construction, in which our state decides to put out large masses of orange barrels and make our commutes even more difficult. It's the cost of living in the city, I guess.
I watch some Premier League games on cable, but most of my family aren't fans, so I'm kind of limited on that front.
Samcheonpo is my favorite character in Reply 1994 because he's so real. I know a lot of people were dogging him because he kind of shut down initially at Yoon Jin, but I didn't. He's been nothing but sweet to her since they started being a couple and he even braved all the crazy fangirls to see concerts with her. I felt awful for him when YJ told him she wanted him to just go away. I understand where she was coming from, but my heart hurt for SCP. The scene after he gets the toilet and brings it to Yoon Jin was one of my favorites of the series because it showed how relationships have to be built on communication. Instead of pushing Seo Taiji under the rug like they had when speaking together, those two decided to have a conversation about it. As a result, they came to a better understanding not only of the situation, but of each other. In my opinion, those two are gold.
For me, I will always be team Chilbong, but I do like Oppa. However, I'm hinging on Oppa's cousin's words (I freaking love Kim Seul-gi). I did feel , however, that this episode was slow and kind of meandering, though I liked hearing more about Binggrae and his family. He hadn't been featured in a while, and I really like his sweetness and self-sacrifice; I think it reminds me of what I'm going through right now. Na Jeong's words about dreams hit me in the heart. Also, I'm sad to see a divide between my favorite Samcheonpo and Yoo Jin. I like when they are cute together. I miss Haitai too.
I think he was surprised because he wasn't exactly a superstar player, and that team had some serious superstars on it (One of them is in the National Baseball Hall of Fame).
Ahh...baseball season in the US is April to October generally. After that, it's gridiron football. Some people also watch basketball and hockey in the winter. Although, sometimes I've been to some cold baseball games in April. Last year, the first baseball game that I went to had a temperature of 25ºF and winds at about 20 miles per hour. I had three layers, a blanket, and two hot chocolates because it was so cold. The year before that (2011), the temperature on the same day was 81ºF.
In other words, the weather in Ohio allows us to experience every season in one day. Lol.
Marry Him if You Dare: 2013's Big. There's nothing worse than a rom-com without a kiss just like there's nothing worse than a body-switching drama with no resolution. 4/10 for me.

Mine is due to proximity as well. I was born in Dayton, Ohio, which is approximately 55 minutes away from Cincinnati, and I've lived here all my life. My parents are both Reds' fans as well. When I was three and a half, the Reds won the 1990 World Series Championship. My earliest concrete memory is the final out of that series. This past January, I met the man who made that out and told him this and he was so surprised at being remembered, lol. Dayton is also the home of the Dayton Dragons, which is a lower-level team for the Reds. Funnily enough, my first crush is married to the owner's daughter. I have season tickets for the Dragons and that's always a fun time in the sweltering Junes and Julys that we have here.

Oh, it's fun. The rules are crazy though; the league (Major League in the US) has had the same basic rules since 1900 (this indicates the "modern era", but there have been some changes (some are as recent as last year). My favorite team is the oldest professional team in the US--the Cincinnati Reds. They formed in 1869. If you ever have any baseball questions, feel free to ask!

It did; both of my teams won this weekend! :) Ah, it's okay. I'm a little bit of a sports fanatic. My favorite sport is baseball, though. I'm a crazy fan too.
After episode 13, whoever is endgame is fine by me, though my heart still beats just a bit more for Chil Bong.…
He didn't actually say it, but it was implied in his actions and his attitude when she said she was going to help Chilbong with his studying. He kind of told Na Jeong to half-ass the session and get out of there quickly. I really didn't like that because Trash is usually a helpful person, and all of the sudden, he's saying that she should kind of not help Chilbong because he's jealous. I found that possessive. It's also saying that Trash doesn't trust Na Jeong enough. That's disconcerting if he is going to be her guy.
After episode 13, whoever is endgame is fine by me, though my heart still beats just a bit more for Chil Bong. However, one of the things that I didn't like about Trash in this episode is his sense of possessiveness with Na Jeong that frightens me a bit. I mean, even if he knows that Chil Bong loves Na Jeong, he also knows that they are friends. He shouldn't expect her to drop Chil Bong as a friend just because he likes her or even if he's dating her. In my opinion, that Trash already demonstrates this tendency before he confesses makes it all the more worrisome for when they are (because let's face it, they are) in a relationship. No man, even a significant other, should tell a woman who and who she can't hold in friendship. So, if Trash does becomes endgame, he better can that attitude, or else I'll be terribly disappointed in him and in Na Jeong for choosing him.

Yeah, it's Ohio State at Michigan, so it's a big game! :) I hope you can find something to watch!
