So she jus won the legal battle. And she’s no longer with GMM Grammy. She said she’s independent right now, but there’s another record label she’s under. It’s a Thai one. The one who did her wrong (abused her) was Indonesian. Red Records I believe is the name. When she released “Passcode”, she was promoting under that label.
As of recent, she just finished getting her house built, and she’s released a couple singles. But that’s all. She’s appeared on a few variety shows . Yet, she said she is not returning to acting anytime soon 😞
Sorry for all of that. But that’s what I’ve learned, heard, and noticed.
Personally I could stand Dong Wook only in Goblin. Can't watch him in anything else.
For some reason your comment makes me laugh (In a good way). People always feel so mixed towards LDW. What is it? 😂 Anyway, what you said was insightful. I believe playing a psychopath is hard.
I was about to be upset that I wouldn’t find it anywhere to watch. But then I searched it up and hit jackpot! 😊 (tip: just search it up and you’ll come up with a result or 2).
I definitely understand. I mean, she could’ve went to business school first. She could speak two languages,…
SMH. I guess there’s not much logic in melodrama. The supporting characters had more business knowledge and professionalism than her. I feel as though her dad should’ve prepared her more, in case something bad did happen. Where was the outside support she needed initially? One bodyguard would’ve worked…at least one 😓
Do you see these bad portrayals and stereotypes often in KDramas? (I’m genuinely curious since I’m a POC,…
Ah, I see. As a black person, I’m not really surprised. I sadly have to look over it every time I witness the stuff you mentioned, and write it off in my head as cringe. Hopefully, Asia can get better at their sensitivity and portrayals of other ethnic groups and foreigners. And thank you for mentioning the shows…I’ll definitely steer clear of them (if not, I’ll brace myself).
I remember watching this years ago and the ending still makes me mad. They could’ve given us an alternate ending or something. I don’t mind melodrama. I really don’t. But if the ending is extremely bogus, I hate it.
I loved him in “Hotel King”. He was really low-key but charismatic. I wish he could’ve been the lead. Or at least appeared in the first episode instead of coming in the middle of the drama. I really appreciated his performance.
He seems like such an awesome person in real life. I hope and he and his wife are okay. I wish them well.
And there’s no love triangles (2ML and 2FL criticize the main leads’ romance, but they aren’t rival material).
The couple do break up like 2 or 3 times (but they can never stay away from each other too long, considering it’s 32 eps).
And there’s definitely a happy ending!
