I realized that maybe the reason why Dong Eun started a relationship with someone younger than her (considering the characters’ ages and the actors’ ages) is because throughout the drama she and Yeo Jung keep alluding to the fact that once the revenge is over she can finally be 19 years old. Of course others may consider the technicalities and what have you, but this just dawned on me.
So, I believe that’s why there’s the age gap. And to be honest, I believe that’s what makes the drama different from others. Even though noona dramas have been around for a long time, this show is an international phenomenon. So, when there is something seemingly conventional in its storytelling, things that stand out (or are unconventional), it is, or will be something that others can’t quite get used to.
I’m sure others have already pointed this out. But I thought about this for a couple of days, and this was one of the things that stood out to me.
hi i'm wondering does any of her revenges involve murder?
No. Not really. She preferred to do things with no blood. Let’s say this, she set the dominoes up and let the bad guys knock ‘em down. If you know what I mean.
Oh, yeah. 😤 I figured that much in the end. But I was curious if for the FL, if not only was she given that kiss without consent, but if he felt under her skirt or did more at that moment. But considering what happened at the end, I’d assume not. Still disgusting.
Even though everyone has a polarizing reception towards Joo Yeo Jung. I found it kinda hot 🤭 what he did at the end of episode 10. I didn’t really expect that. It showed a different side to him. Seemingly sweet and adorable. But maybe not?
(Romance or no romance, I like how he wasn’t so quick to judge. That’s why I respected his character. His relationship with Dong Eun was an opposites attract-type thing. I’m not sure if I would’ve been satisfied without some hint of a romance between the two. But the romance was more like a respectful courtship. Nothing too demanding, paralyzing, nor overbearing. But I can understand why others’ opinions may differ. I wasn’t sold in the first episode. But the disdain went away after episode 2).
Is bullying in Korean schools/society really this brutal? I'm completely shook by what I am seeing. This is beyond…
There was a question on Quora that asked why East Asia is on a whole different level when it comes to school bullying. Not undermining other countries problems with bullying, but there is an obvious difference.

Or at least she seemed that way in “The Glory”. Maybe she’s played villains. I need to check and see 😅
