They wholly embraced the campiness in the second half — Tanaka Kei’s zombie wiggling and writhing was a sight to behold and both Yamada Yuki and Takahashi Fumiya being unhinged was hilarious!
I didn’t take it seriously and ended up enjoying how bonkers it was.
This is now my comfort drama! I love the husband and wife’s dynamics. They have a peaceful and comfortable relationship, all the more highlighted by how they seem to bond over cooking. Highly anticipating the next episodes!
Regarding the final episode, Yoshida never came back and left the script for Kamiki to read? I got confused if this was accurate, as there was a scene where Yoshida was staring at Kamiki reading the script.
I’m currently doing that and I presume it doesn’t matter as much, based on my experience. Although some scenes and characters from season 1 appeared in the 1st episode, I’ll still follow season 2 blindly. Maybe if you wish to focus on Sakaguchi Kentaro and Iitoyo Marie’s characters, you’ll be fine — given that I am, too. :)
