I'm so invested in Spanner's and Lachesis' respective arcs. Their characters are well written, it makes you want to root for them especially for Lachesis.
Can't help but sing praises for episode 8! Keiwa's characterization initially irked me in the first few episodes but am now understanding where he's coming from -- especially in terms of his "desire." The whole 20 minutes was jam-packed with action and character growth. Tuning in for the next arcs!
Kawaei Rina and Takasugi Mahiro's chemistry are off the charts! I love the comedic jabs the writers place for their character banter, especially when Ryuzaki Taiga would mistake Mio's words as a "love confession" when in fact it's really not. I know there's no romance, but I love Taiga and Mio's synergy and how they bounce off of each other.
If ever my other self in another dimension gets warped into the world of manhwa, I aspire to be as level-headed and empathetic as Dohwa. He cares for everyone, doesn't act rashly, and always tries to put himself in others' shoes. He might seem boring in k-dramaland, but having a personality and be someone as dependable as him would be super comforting in real life.
I've been reading Korean tweets and majority were endeared by the cultural differences! They pointed out how Tae-oh would greet his co-workers asking if they've eaten as such a Korean thing to do, and how he calls Yuri as "Yuri-san" rather than her surname. (also love the part when Taeoh asked if Yuri likes soondubu, then proceeds to run in the rain to get her breakfast - it's too cute!)
Chae Jong-hyeob's such a cute giant puppy and Fumi never fails to deliver. I think I just found my winter rom-com drama!
