Genuine question dont directors get contracted to do work and dont they read over the project before they work on it to know if they want to direct it so even if he didnt write the projects he still chooses to work on projects that he enjoys and therefore they could have similar endings thematically again this is a genuine question because this is just the way i assume it works and i would like to be educated
