Some people acting like the ending was so bad so I was scared to play ep34 at first. I actually understand why QY had to hide LY's mother's suicide. She knows how it feels to hate a parent for killing the other parent, even though it was a lie in her case. She had many regrets after her father left. She loved LY enough to not make him hate the most precious woman in his life. She didn't want him to send off his mother full of hatred. It's better to pass the hate to her, as she's living and he could seek her out for revenge.
I love romance like this where I can feel both sides are giving their all. I love both LY & QY so much & they'll always live happily ever after in my heart.
Totally agree! Can you give more insight on Daylight? Is that the production company of the drama? And which other…
Yes, Daylight Entertainment is a production company that's known for producing quality dramas (if you search douban, their dramas usually appear on top if you search by ranking). Qiao Xin has been in the highly recommended Nirvana in Fire 1 and 2 as a minor/supporting character, and a main character in Ode To Joy 1 and 2 :) A lot of people remember her esp in the OTJ series.
The Autumn Ballad is HER (and Xu Zhengxi's) drama. Qiu Yan is such a flawed yet lovely character. I love Qiao Xin's approach in playing her. She got Qiu Yan's youthfulness & maturity at the same time. I hope this will give her more opportunities to be part of good productions. Can Daylight cast her for the 5th time? :')
I like how this season is very loyal to the webtoon. I hated how S1 changed Mirae from a child celebrity to an idol trainee. Her love story in the webtoon with U-gyeong was very lovely, they totally miss that out in the drama & made a lot of unnecessary drama about them :/
Yena is great as Nari ♡ I really need S3 ASAP I hope Yena is still interested in acting because I don't want another cast change.
It's 2022 and people still have apprehensions about NJH's acting. I used to be an anti of his acting, but something shifted when I saw him in The Light In Your Eyes and I've been looking out for his projects every now and then. Heard his breakout role was in a film, but I didn't watch it so I only found out about his improvement in that drama. I like Kim Taeri too so I'm very excited to see this drama! ♡
Liu Feng saying Chunhe a couple of times is just as annoying as Liu Ran saying Erlang *but at least Liu Ran was adorable*. It runs in the blood I guess :/
might watch this for Lee Sangyeob. This isn't actually my cup of tea. The plot sounds so makjang and I can already imagine lots of hair-pulling moments. But he's here so...
Can you please recommend some dramas of him before Luoyang and Minning Town? I really want to watch his older dramas, but the reviews of some are so negative lmao
Ever since his breakthrough, he took on more serious projects such as Luoyang and that film with Tony Leung. He's slowly getting rid of his idol actor image. Happy to see him in Luoyang. He's on the weaker side in terms of acting among the leads, but he didn't bring them down & had his moments. I hope he continues to show us a variety of roles. He was really adorable as Xie Yun in Legend of Fei.
King Jin pulling out the imperial guards when Siyue needed them the most to protect Erlang. He is so sus.
And I hate Wu Youjue just for existing. Stop bringing up Siyue's marriage 24/7. There's a conspiracy brewing. Why does he want to get rid of his competent sister so bad.
It's refreshing that the male character is actually the less skilled among the leads. Youngjoo won an award in carpentry & both Seoyoung & Jiwon have a clear goal in mind & they're doing well in classes too. Then there's Kijoon whose path in taekwondo got cut short because of an injury & still finding what he wants in life. I love how a guy like that can be a main character of a story. I think a lot of us can relate to him.
I'm now on ep11 and I believe Zhang Huiwen's portrayal of Mo Yan is consistent so far. She grew up being spoiled by her older brothers, tho some are strict, but still, they let her off with light punishment most of the time. She has the skills to be a constable (girl knows pharmacology etc), but she wasn't trained to be one so she commits some mistakes & acts impulsively. She's actually the brains between her & Zhan Zhao while the latter is the skillful in kungfu & qinggong. Both really complement each other. Zhan Zhao helps Mo Yan to keep her temper while Mo Yan helps Zhan Zhao be more carefree. I laughed a lot when he really went along with her plan to pretend a hero in front of Miss Bai.
Overall, I love how ZHW acts childish without being cringey. As for her visuals, I find her pretty esp in constume dramas. It's her genre tbh. Caesar Wu looks handsome in this drama too. This drama just grows on you. You'll end up loving everyone.
hmm perhaps people actually like watching youngsters just having random banter and fights?? plus, i assume it's…
I hope they'll add parallels from the old documentary to the new one. Would be more interesting that way because I'm very curious about the appeal of the old one.

you were an interesting villain
also, wished GBZ saw WSY wearing a female clothing. She's so pretty even Beiqi was drooling lmao
