In the recent episode (EP 17), the FL completely confirmed her suspicions that Qin Li is not Xiao Tao's brother at all because she discovered a file of Xiao Tao somewhere in the hospital that contained Xiao Tao's real information, that she's actually Zheng Xiao Tao (not Qin Xiao Tao as what Qin Li told her). I am guessing that the man who keeps on stalking ML is related to Xiao Tao, probably his real brother (because his name is Zheng Bao Song), but again, this is just a guess, and we haven't seen the next episodes yet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

This is nothing like My Lethal Man at all. FZX's character here is very manipulative and a major red flag. But watch it for his looks, even though most of the time his character really creeps me out big time 😂

Romance-wise, no. Thriller-wise, kind of.

Maybe the one who edited his bio on his profile got it wrong.

That one scene where Yifei was having a nightmare and she saw Qin Li outside their glass window staring right at her while she's being choked by an assailant, THAT GAVE ME LITERAL CHILLS. But at the same time, I felt weak when he called her 老婆 (wife) after he comforted her after waking up lmao 😭 THIS MAN AIN'T EVEN PLAYING A ROMANTIC CHARACTER IN THE FIRST PLACE BUT THE CHARISMA IS TOO STRONG NOT TO RESIST 😩

The emotional manipulation in this drama is way too heavy, and that's my own observation after skimming thru the 11 episodes RAW (i can understand basic Mandarin but I can't comprehend the business terminologies). I really feel bad for Qu Mengru as Song Yifei, but I still think her acting is somewhat lacking, but I guess it's because of the character she's playing.

It's fascinating that Fan Zhixin as Qin Li can give you nightmares and still make you feel the butterflies because of how he's hella fine in this.

Don't Mess with Ex-Girlfriend. That one was way more better than this imo.

The director of the drama shared a video clip of one of their script reading sessions, and this one was when they were reciting their lines for Episode 22. On the actual scene, we can see FZX crying so hard. But what was more anazing is that he also cried a lot during the script reading of that particular scene, and that shows how professional and versatile this man is. You can see how he kept on weeping even after the director pointed out some of the points that they need to focus on and what to fix and all of that stuff. He literally looks like he came from a breakup because of all that crying 😭 the director posted it because he thought it was a very heavy scene so he shared it on Weibo.

Last night, Fan Zhixin held a live broadcast on Weibo. Then, I saw a post on Weibo that was about that one fire scene in the car in Episode 1 and the director talked about it in the livestream. If you remember that one scene where Yan Xingcheng burned Shen Manning's cheat notes to fully master Zhuang Xinyan, apparently, they filmed that scene for 5-6 times, so he did that burning scene for 5-6 times too. It was said that his hand were hurt or burned idk the specific deets, but he didn't complained to the director about it until he screamed in pain. He's so sincere about playing his character too much that he didn't bother complaining just so they can finish. I love Fan Zhixin even more.
