Commenting here a minute after finishing Episode 14, and oh gosh, Xu Zhengxi really knows how to kiss! The kisses made me feel butterflies in my stomach, and I was squealing the whole time they were kissing. And we did not get just one, but a lot of kisses, which is quite the delight for tonight's episodes. You could really feel the tension on their first real kiss, and all emotions are all over the place. Oh gosh, I super duper love it. For those who are still hesitating to watch this, you'll be missing out big time!

We all feel the same, but what I think the redeeming part here is that the voice actor somehow suited Jeremy and his character in the drama.

If I'm not wrong, some of Jieqiong's past dramas were also dubbed too. Or maybe Jieqiong didn't have time to dub her own voice because of her tight schedule 😅 irdk hdhshdhshd but it's still such a shame to dub their voices when their real voices are good enough

I think I have an idea on why Jeremy wasn't able to dub himself on this drama. I was stalking his Weibo account then I came across to a couple of posts way back May 2021, in which he posted about recovering from a leg injury on his right leg. BMP wrapped up filming on the third week of April 2021, and his injury most likely happened a week or two after they wrapped filming. In recording studios, the actors usually would be required to to the dubbing and record their voices while standing, but maybe due to his current condition that time, they weren't able to get himself to do his own dubbing for the drama because he was undergoing a rehab for his right leg injury. This is just a completely random thought of mine, please take this with a pinch of salt. You could check his Weibo account if you want. These are just purely my own speculations.

I just finished watching the drama and loved everything about it. I discovered that no one has translated the original novel into English yet, and I am quite tempted to translate the novel. Mandarin is not my mother tongue nor my second language, but I have done a couple of translations on a separate Chinese novel from the last three months, and I feel like dropping that one since it has a lot of chapters unlike the original novel of this drama, which only consists of 30+ chapters in total.

It's okay, it's quite understandable haha. The character chart of the drama shows that the second couple will have a love rival, but for the main couple, there is still no one mentioned. I hope it stays that way so that there will be no unnecessary love triangle between the main couple.

Please refrain from comparing You Are My Hero to DOTS. This drama isn't a remake of that drama. They are two different dramas with completely different stories. There is indeed small similarities but both dramas has major and visible differences. Maybe if you're a fan of that drama, you could try watching this too. But please, refrain from comparing both dramas. This is a matter of respecting the drama and the writer of the original novel. I'm pretty sure they didn't want to be compared with other dramas.
