is he a tragic second male lead? or is he actually evil?
i've just got into ep 15 and the only sign he could turn evil is drama god's fate for second male lead characters like him lol hoping he would break the stereotype
i'm still confused with the whole imperial drama. can someone explain or drop link to an explainer on what actually happened? like... why do the Prime MInister's consort lover needed to burn herself? where did Qi Min fit in all of these?
compared to this one, i think blossom has better pacing, and the court intrigue arc is less convoluted so it's easier to understand.
the director perfected his art in this drama, though. so blossom (even though is prettier looking compared to your usual cdramas) has less pretty and detailed shots than pursuit of jade.
pursuit of jade also has better romantic chemistry. but that may have to do with the characterization of the female lead.
I still recommend for you to watch it. the best part is that all the eps are released already! so if you find it slow, you can just skip to interesting parts.
Omg yeah I was waiting for it in but it never came 🥲. Welp at least we have clips from leaked version, I honestly…
just watched ep 38 and yeah.. seems like that scene is too much for the censorship committee. maybe the real reason for the episodes leak is for that scene to see the sunrise? lol

it's just a bit bitter, that after all, the true villain was the emperor who already dead all the time.
but why do Prince Changxin are enemies with everyone at the early episodes?
