rewatching this drama and gosh.. this show had like 2323243 ppl lol

i'm in episode 26 and decided to put this on hold. The story is good but the execution is bad. The only thing that kept me going is RJL's character but when they made him behave out of character in ep 25 I decided to just drop this and either continue watching later or just skip right to the end.

anyone knows where to find this drama's character map? like which prince goes to which consort..

I thought nothing about it back when I watched it but it suddenly came up to me while I was reading world news lol. i realized then just how good this scene actually is if it could come out of nowhere just like that..

this drama is now available on daylight ent's youtube but the subtitle is a lot faster than the audio. I wonder if they would ever fix it :( I really want to watch this show

I think when it was mentioned that 'previous emperor favored pingjing' is because he reminded him of fiery young linshu a.k.a. mei changsu before the meiling. I think the novel (and if im not mistaken, lin chen in the drama ver.) Mentioned that

I think I've rewatched this for 79 times (lol reference to forever and ever). Everytime i watched chinese palace dramas with badly written politics I always return to NIF to cure my soul~ even any kind of drama where the bad doesnt get their karmic retribution

This drama has ruined me for good. And it's one of the first chinese dramas I've watched. Watching c-dramas after this never feels the same.

Agreed. One dimensional villains are perhaps the bad point of this drama.
