Yo and Jom are so cute together. I see their chemistry growing every episode. Their couple phase will be so cute if they’re this cute now, with not a lot yet in between. I enjoy build ups in relationships. They will be so cute.
I guess that for most commenters here, it's that they feel that Yo is treated unfairly; they feel that he didn't…
Yes and Jom is a very young village chief. To be seen as a person of authority by the villagers, he sometimes has to act a certain way. He’s nice to them but not all villagers are nice. There are some with bad intentions and do bad stuff in the farms. I think after Yo issue with Sack, it will be Jom’s issues that will be dealt with. Also he holds the village head position for a long time. There will be men who would want to snatch that from him too. There’s still 10 more eps left so a lot of stories to uncover.
Jom and Yo at this point have no romantic interest yet. In the novel they only got together or had intentions…
Yes at this point neither of them have attraction yet. Jom sees Yo as a man child that he has to take care of. Also Yo dislike Jom at this time. Neither have attraction yet.
I am also not a fan of accidental kiss scenes but what this scene came off to me was Jom and Yo are indifferent to each other. Neither of them reacted to it. It could be because they’re keeping an eye against each other. Both side don’t want to lose. It reflected their current stance about each other. It’s Thai lakorn style.
Yes so far there are quite some changes in the live action. Like Yo was a total bad guy in the novel which realistically is hard to redeem.
I enjoyed the first episode, but the second was more mixed. It had a couple of good moments, but there are two…
Jom and Yo at this point have no romantic interest yet. In the novel they only got together or had intentions in the middle of the story. Jom wasn’t open yet to his family also for Yo, Jom was the first guy he liked but he was also the first guy he was with. Jom also believes he’s the only gay guy in his village. He was also hurt from his ex. It never crossed his mind that him and Yo could be a thing until Yo pursued him.
If you want to see like a feel of their dynamic as a couple, you can watch the behind the scenes pilot video they posted. 11:42 mark. It’s a kissing scene. It’s very similar dynamic to the novel. There were also other scenes in the video . Some scenes in the pilot weren’t really the same with the novel so they could’ve changed it or it’s not in the series. Just the dynamic is similar.
It’s a spoiler but if they follow the novel, Jom didn’t grow up all his life with his parents. When he was…
Right he is spoiled . He’s an only child from a very well off family. His family has a corporation. He’s not old rich. His father worked his way up to build a company. He used to live in the village.
It’s likely afternoon because he was wearing the same clothes on the last episode when his parents said goodbye…
I think that was an error in the subtitles. It’s not breakfast exactly. It’s just supposed to be freshen up like wash your face then come down and eat. Also morning won’t make sense because they got to the village around afternoon time already or lunch time. It was the same day.
What's with the pacing of the show?He wakes up in the morning (at least when you hear the birds in the background.…
It’s likely afternoon because he was wearing the same clothes on the last episode when his parents said goodbye to him. Him and his family traveled for hours from Bangkok to the village. He probably had a nap since he was tired then it transitioned to dinner time.
I must admit I prefered the first episode over the second. The 2nd episode was too much a lecture of some moral…
It’s a spoiler but if they follow the novel, Jom didn’t grow up all his life with his parents. When he was young he was sent to live with his grandparents because of a trauma. He does visit his parents and has a good relationship with them. But he didn’t live all his life in the village. He also studied in a good university. That’s where he met his ex. That’s another story but his ex also hurt him.
I think Jom just can’t stand parents and elders to be disrespected. I do understand that Yo in the series is misunderstood. He was only standing up for himself and his friends.
It’s like a slice of life manhwa coming to life. It’s very colorful. and clear. The acting of the cast is also good. It’s very promising so far. I like how in some scenes they share moral lessons and the background music makes it more touching. It’s cute overall
