Was the shirtless guy carrying the axe at the end the infamous "that person"? I don't get the significance of ending the drama on Muru Han Jiang too...
I have so many mixed feelings about this drama?! I was super looking forward to it but after watching it I am both amazed and disappointed by it. I thought the drama up until the end was really amazing. And right off the bat I loved the cinematography, acting, and special effects. They just blew me away. I started to become more and more disappointed near the end when I realized it was not going to end really well because there were so many unresolved conflicts. I really hope there's a season 2 but it wouldn't be the same without the same actors...
Let's just say you can't make a 2 hour movie from a 50+ episode drama and expect it to be the same quality...especially this drama which has like 2 back stories.
The chemistry between Dilireba and Zhang Vin is so good that their scenes probably aren't even acted. They don't need to act to show their friendship xD *claps*
I feel bad that after all FengJiu and DongHua had to go through they did not end up together. It's fate :/ Also I felt really bad for LiJing. He was such a pitiful character and died too easily. He didn't get to see SiYin one last time...
Why do people think that a tragic ending means a bad ending? Not all romances are happy endings. This separates this drama from other dramas with cliche happy endings. Furthermore this was a historical drama so happy endings are even more rare. Also can people please post your comments about the ending as a spoiler because no one wants to know about the ending before they watch it.
I guess either a lot of people don't know or just rather the ending not seem like the real life story but…
i think in the drama Tuoba Hong was the child of WeiYang and Tuoba Jun because drama Tuoba Jun loved WeiYang so much he wouldn't want anyone else :)

Very similar to Journey of Flower. Im pretty sure one of the scenes was shot at the same place in Journey of Flower. The plots are very similar too. I loved that DongFangBuBai was the one who gave her heart for YingYing. It's just so right. She's the one who cursed her and in the end is also the one who saves her. The last scene was really weird though. Like is she still alive or is that just to create a dramatic ending?
Really good in the beginning but started to drag throughout the middle. The misunderstanding plot was a weak one. What really made me like it was the ending. Even though QianTian did so many ruthless things, his only reason was mainly because of his love for Yangzi. I respected him in the end. I was really sad about TangHai's death because there is always that one character that no one wants dead but dies heroically. .
