Both are workplace settings with a relative newbie and a popular and successful senior. Both have a fantasy element - though they're quite different.
Simple storyline, minimal misunderstanding, loveable charaters, entertaining support characters, great chemistry. Both lack in-depth character development, but its short sweet, zippy and fun.
In both there was a serious, heart-felt connection (chemistry) between the two leads. TTOF may have been more emotional, but Ive not finished BBT yet.
They both follow the classic University BL formula topped off with great casting for the lead characters – their visuals and dynamic are very similar.
