Just binge watched episodes 1-8 and ohmygoshh everyone was hyping this series so much and I totally understand why. It has a gripping story and the chemistry between the couples is amazing. The social message behind this show is soo important and I'm glad they're doing it justice. There is so much depth to all the characters and I am also obsessed with the soundtrack which is beautiful!
The chemistry was really good and the plot was decent. My biggest issue was just with the way the show was edited. It was choppy with awkwardly placed scenes. It just wasnt put together very cohesively. The simple plot i quite enjoy because I need something light hearted and as for the chemistry...incredible.
I am absolutely hooked on this story. I love watching Leo and fiat learn to navigate their relationship especially the way it started with them both barely being able to look at each other without gay panicking. I just love this so much especially the domestic aspect of their relationship. I feel like BLs struggle to get the right balance of skinship post the characters establishing a relationship; It's usually just drama and maybe they kiss when all is resolved but in this story they really got the balance right.
My only hope is that we see more progression from Fiat. I know Leo has always been indulging him but I think Fiat needs to step up in that regard.
People really hating on this put me off watching for a while but I really enjoyed it. I have like 1 episode left though. I understand it's definitely kinda slow and some of the dialogue can make you cringe particularly at the start when youre not used to it. So yeah some of the criticism are valid BUT In terms of the actual couple and their scenes....no words, it was impeccable! Like i cant explain it but the way they delievered this relationship was in the most realistic and believable way. The chemistry is undeniable, not only the nsfw scenes (which were wow) but the skinship and tenderness built between the couple between these scenes. It's something that BLS are really bad at portraying; the actual relationship aside from makeout sessions. Like they have this playful flirting even post becoming a couple and that's what a lot of shows aren't able to replicate but it makes the relationship feel more real. So yeah these two have become one of my top 3 BL couples and if you don't know whether to watch this show, just do it, it's worth it for the chemistry of the couple.

Hii yesss I try my best to wait for a show to be complete (sometimes I fail and start it when there are 1 or 2 episodes left to air). The more im excited about the show, the more likely I am to wait for it to be complete before starting it. It's for 2 reasons; 1, i like to binge watch the whole show in one day because I feel the emotions from it even more strongly. Also with angst, I don't need to wait a whole week to see a resolution. The second reason is that I have a problem where I lose interest in things I'm watching if I have to wait for the episodes to come out. For example, I've been watching some of my favourite (non BL) shows ever and I simply gave up mid season because I got bored of waiting and couldnt bring myself to watch it even after the season was complete. It's weird and I hate it but im just built like this unfortunately lmao
I loved the concept, the enemies to lovers trope is so good and never gets old. I also loved the actors, expecially the main couple, I like their dynamic and they definitely gave me butterflies especially in ep 8. However, I will say I did find this a little boring at times. The episodes felt a little jumpy as if they didnt flow that well and some of the plot points were introduced too suddenly and were underdeveloped. I want to blame it on the episode length but there have been other BLs with the same run time where the eps flowed better. Regardless of these complaints, I don't regret watching the show, I'm actually really enjoying it and look forward to the next few eps.

I literally agree with everything you said. I love the main couple, theyre probably also my fave bl couple. I want them to act together again SOOO bad because like you said their acting was so natural and convincing (the apple scene where li cheng feeds muren a slice of apple from his mouth) id expect a scene like that to feel a little forced but IT WASN'T and im still in awe. Not just that but I love that they were adults and they acted like adults (some bls have adult couples that still act so immature) but the characterisation was just perfect and the couple were relatively mature when it came to misunderstandings.
