Sejeong is such an all-rounder. I remember liking her in Produce 101 because of her vocals, but her acting is also great. I'm so excited for the next episode!!

Park Bo Young is such a cutie <3 I think that Strong Woman Do Bong Soon will always be my favourite drama from her. Not only is she adorable, so is Park Hyung Sik. I've never seen a male lead with such natural aegyo. Yes the plot isn't perfect, but I think their amazing chemistry made up for some of the plot holes in the story.

Thanks for the article! I had fun reading it =) I am Chinese so I understand what you mean, Chinese used in historical dramas is so poetic and beautiful, I love it. Out of all your points, I think the commitment in relationships is really what draws me towards historical dramas. I find that in historical dramas it's like "I can't live without you" and "I will sacrifice everything for you". Although it's not really realistic nor is it healthy, I do find it very touching and romantic since it's inside a drama and I'm just watching for entertainment.

I just finished this and I must say that their chemistry is amazing! What a sweet and natural couple =) However, the first part was really hard for me to watch since I don't like playing video games. It just felt like a really "in your face" type of ad which I didn't like. But thankfully it got better afterwards and actually focused on the couple's relationship instead of just gaming.

This is clearly low budget but the first trailer actually looks engaging and the female lead looks capable and…
I'm just curious, how do you guys know when a drama is low budget or not? The only way I can tell that something has a high budget is when they have really nice clothing and accessories and they have good cg LOL

Title Why I Dress Up for Love Spoiler
I really wanted to like this drama, since it's my first Jdrama in a long time, but sadly I just couldn't force myself to finish it. From day one, the male lead keeps on telling the female lead to be more honest with herself, when he isn't even honest with his own emotions so it just came off as very hypocritical. They hold hands and he's like "we're just neighbours". They kiss and he's like "nahh we're just neighbours". Like is this dude for real??! It reminded me of the bad relationships that I experienced in the past where guys wouldn't be honest about their feelings. I admire the female lead for being so gracious towards him, and she showed a lot of maturity, but I think she would've been better off staying single.

Wow this is so amazing! I can't imagine how long it would've taken to get all the pictures and the links together. Thanks for using your creativity to make this fun experience for us =)

Title Run On
Mmh, it's good. But the start is much better than the rest. I enjoyed the first 5-6 episodes A LOT. But then it…
Glad I wasn't the only one who felt the same way. The first half of the drama was amazing for me and then it went downhill. I really wanted to drop the drama but I still managed to finish it. Honestly, after they started dating it just felt really boring. And then I paid more attention to the second couple because they were more interesting.

This was such a nice feel good drama!! I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this drama and I regret putting it on my to-watch list for so long. The ML and FL's interactions are very natural and sweet, to the point where I forget that they're acting. The second couple was super cute too. I love how the female characters in this historical drama can actually fend for themselves and they are not damsels in distress. So many times in Chinese dramas you have these female leads who are so helpless and waiting for the male leads to save them. But this drama was really a breath of fresh air! Both female leads are smart and intelligent, which is rare in the Cdrama historical world.

This was such a fun article! Lots of great examples you have there. I think it's really hard to think of another drama with the Toradora effect, but one of my favourite Taiwanese movies "Our Times" does have the Toradora effect.

I chuckled when you talked about Open Choice, because I suddenly remembered how much I suffered while watching those kinds of dramas. I couldn't even finish Jealousy Incarnate because I was so pissed off, and I'm huge fans of both Gong Hyo Jin and Jo Jung Suk, but still nope. And in the Hunger Games, when Katniss couldn't choose between Peeta and Gale, I was like losing my mind. Thanks for a great article =)

I love Park Eun Bin and Rowoon, they're amazing actors and they have such good chemistry in this drama! It's really too bad that the script is not the best. I don't know about you guys, but I really don't care much about politics. Having political scenes in a historical drama is necessary, but I think I would've appreciated less scenes of the bad guys plotting schemes and more scenes of the back story of certain characters. I swear for some episodes the bad guys have as much screen time as the ML and FL.

Same! I really like Haneul she just seems down to earth and genuine. The other girls seem really nice as well =) I honestly can't tell who the money catcher is so far for either the guys and the girls.

Hebe was also my favourite from SHE back in the day! I was such a big fan of them when I was in high school, it brings back memories. I really do miss the old Taiwanese dramas though, nowadays it's been hard for me to find a Taiwanese drama that I can watch from start to finish.

I really admire their friendship! While I was watching Hospital Playlist and also Three Meals a Day, I thought to myself, it would be amazing to have friends like these =) This for me is truly a healing variety show.

Meh, so so actor...only gets by because he is cute and has dimples =/
Really? That's so interesting. Have you guys watched Hometown Cha Cha Cha? I thought his acting was amazing in that drama. But of course, to each their own.
