People don't care about the story anymore. This is what happened with Business Proposal. They just look for the eye candy couple and rate it a 10 no matter how awful and cliché the plotline is. If th leads were some actors who were unattractive for the public, i think this would've never got a 9.1. Unfortunately, that's the case with MDL nowadays so don't bother checking the score on newer dramas. While there are trolls who simply hate this drama, there are a lot of users who genuinely write reviews and post it here. What you said is very accurate, you can effortlessly create burner accounts and rate the drama. You can manipulate the score, but just so you know you can never do the same for the reviews.
