This series feels like a literal dream, like it was written in flowery pieces of poetry. It captures you, takes you into its depths and yet when it's over and you've awoken--the details feel hazy and almost untouchable. It's a dream that you want to stay in, to absorb fully, but in essence this is an impossible desire to have.

And yet, for all the beauty and magic that is this series, it isn't without flaws. But maybe that's what makes it even more poetic in the end.

There are things that I felt were overdone for the sake of drama, like the two characters we (sadly) lost along the way. Especially for Qing Tian who seemed to suffer endlessly with a smile on his face, but ended up facing his demise on the precipice of his new budding beginning. And to top it off, I didn't really enjoy how they made his passing a mystery initially. The viewers confusion of whether it was him unaliving himself or an accident has been an issue. For all the things that are left unsaid in this series, I really think that one specific thing needed to be spoken more clearly from the get go.

Overall, much like the long winded title, the entirety of this series is written and performed with so much heart . The initial dream wakes with much left to be said between the lines, but there's undeniable beauty within the whole of it.

TDLR:

Pros:
- It's written beautifully, like poetry
- Kuma & JIngyu are masters in acting, they work amazingly together
- Yichen needs to get his flowers also, because his portrayal of Qing Tian was incredible.
- The incredible imagery makes you want to visit every filming location

Cons:
- Sometimes the delivery is affected by it's need to be poetic and hurts the overall understanding of what is going on at times
- I don't really care for the fact we had two character deaths
- Han Lu & Hao Yu's storyline is completely unnecessary to me, it feels like it's disjointed from the series as a whole. That added drama is distractive at best.
- Also Qian Lang's previous acting partner has way too much weight for wayyy too long and it got boring at times. MEGA annoying.

Overall:
- 100% worth the watch for the beauty of it as a whole. I suspect a rewatch will bring some details into focus. But this is one for the Best of 2026 books and I hope we see more from this CP in the future.
