I read the comments on xhs from the manhua fans, they said wangye using the wrong method, the FHQM founder will…
Nope. The resolution to the "Wang Ye's stalker" storyline was around Ch680 LMAO. His storyline was interspersed between major arcs, that's why it took too long. And Biyou Village Arc ended at around Ch303 (disclaimer: I haven't finished the drama yet XD I'm too lazy HAHA so I'm not sure what else they included or how much they cut out. But Ch303 was up until Chen Duo's death.)

You can read at allmanga.to (search for "Yi Ren Zhi Xia"). HOWEVER, the chapters after the Siege of Mount Longhu Arc are very badly translated. And only up to Ch295 is uploaded. For the rest, you can read at colamanga (search for " ไธ€ไบบไน‹ไธ‹") but you have to translate it for yourself.

I know right? I hope they'll just smush all the events together in one spinoff season instead of interspacing it like in the manhua. The mystery "Wang Ye's stalker" took too long to get resolved imo.

Note that donghua=animation ; manhua=comic (unless you mean dongmangtang? but it's too long so I'll keep using manhua) ; the manhua is currently at 700+ chapters while the donghua is at 5 seasons that covered up to Ch395(?) So the manhua is the most recent in terms of the story.

I don't think Mi-Er is going to kill off Wang Ye tbh. And he already resolved Wang Ye's "cancer-scare" in the manhua and I don't think the donghua would ever change that unless they want fans to riot. But we'll see? I guess?? May I ask if you have the source of the alleged statement from Mi Er?

Uhm... If you want to read hehe.......... there might be some mistakes but here's the gist of it LOL

Zhou Shen (the inventor of Feng Hou Qimen) had been stalking Wang Ye ever since he learned FHQM. The drama didn't show it, but in Beijing Arc, there should have been someone appearing as a henchman that Wang Ye couldn't use Chaotic Golden Clapper (I don't remember the official localization LOL the spell that freezes time) on like FBB. Then he reappeared during Biyou Village Arc as a Ruhua.

Time passed by, with intermittent depictions of Wang Ye having random diseases one moment but gone in the next moment.

Kui'er-ye (one of the 10 Elders who had been stalking Wang Ye during Beijing Arc. I forgot his whole name. I think it was Chen Jinkui?) met up with Wang Ye. They fought because Kui'er-ye really wanted FHQM, ending with Wang Ye getting a heart attack out of nowhere.

Kui'er-ye had Wang Ye have some medical examinations but they couldn't pinpoint what exactly was wrong with him. Sometimes the results are "He's healthy" and sometimes "He has lung cancer" etc.

Time passed by again. The next thing we learned about Wang Ye is that apparently "He made Kui'er-ye crazy" and so NDT sent ZGQ to hunt him down. They meet up... have some moments ehehehe... then Wang Ye tells the story of what really happened.

Kui'er-ye confronted him in an airplane. Wang Ye teleported them both out of the airplane and into the sky. Wang Ye has some realizations that he is just like the others and he hasn't really fully mastered FHQM, went into a mini breakdown, and they fall thousands of feet above the ground.

"Wang Ye's stalker" appeared again and this time he appeared as a disembodied black smoke. Wang Ye asked for help and, fortunately, the stalker relents.

As it turned out, this stalker was Zhou Shen. Elder Zhou rants a bit about how lazy Wang Ye was with mastering FHQM and how he had to make up some tests (attacking him during Beijing Arc and then during Biyou Village Arc) to force him into a breakthrough. Because he might actually die from straining himself with how he's using FHQM currently. To which Wang Ye replies "Eh? Why not just tell me how to break through the bottleneck?"

Elder Zhou rants some more but ultimately tells him that he shouldn't put the central palace (of the qimen chart) outside but within himself. That way, he doesn't need to strain himself by making it larger and larger if he needed to. If the central palace is within him, then the qimen chart moves with him.

Then he unlocks a cool new superpower: changing one's self. He could change into other people, into animals, into elements, etc. I think this was supposed to be symbolic of "If you want to change the world, the change should start from within."

Then Zhou Shen gives FHQM to Kui'er-ye who ends up braindead because of this. It's at that moment that Wang Ye disavows Elder Zhou because he doesn't believe that FHQM should be willy-nilly given to anyone. Especially if the consequence is being trapped in their Inner Realm/Phantasmagoria.

ZGQ is very proud that he unlocked a new skill because he's a good BF(boyfriend? best friend? you'll never know for sure LOL) and coaches him in what he should say when he takes him back to the Company.

As of right now, Wang Ye is just chilling with the NDT gang.

can anyone tell me the timeline of the dknghua? is the second season of the donghua correspond to this season?
The source material (donghua and manhua) goes from Beijing Arc straight to Biyou Village Arc. This season of the drama corresponds to the 4th and 5th Seasons of the donghua (plus some more chapters from the manhua, I think. I haven't seen the last half of the drama yet hehe but based on the comments here, I think they're going to name drop Qu Tong already so--). I would recommend watching the 3rd Season of the donghua too though. Because there are some stuff they left out in the drama's 1st Season.

To be fair, many fans of the donghua and manhua already ship the two characters even before the drama released.…
I just clicked on the link. I've already watched that video before hehe It's susu's edit and it's actually the reason why I also started Dashing Youth. But if I remember correctly, even susu (the creator of the edit) didn't finish Dashing Youth LOL So, you are so right that the hype was not worth it.

I think there was a a wrong translation on your part. I did not say "that a lot of people dropped Dashing Youth." I said that I, personally, (as in me, myself and I) have dropped it. I might try to pick it up again if I can, but it's unlikely that I would. Cheers.

They nerfed Ma Xianhong's cult LOL in the original, there were 12 Xiushenlu Operators (including Zhuge Qing and Chen Duo). Now it's only 6? LOL? Though I guess they aren't operators anymore because they completely scrapped that concept. But one thing I'm kinda scared about is... with no Jin Yong and, from what I can infer from the trailers and BTS, still no "Mysterious Man," just how much of Wang Ye's scenes did they cut? LOL What is he going to do in the final battle?????????

I never denied their chemistry. All I said was that their scenes were framed as they were because the cast and crew knew their audience and the fandom they're entering. IIRC, they joked about ็Ž‹ไนŸ่ธ้’ way before Season 02 was confirmed (which makes it more sad that it wouldn't be Wanyan Luorong's Zhuge Qing that Wang Ye's gonna beat up LOL I'm sure he was looking forward to filming the iconic scene).

When they made QingYe stay in Wang Ye's room most of Beijing Arc, that's a script writing choice. When they made Zhuge Qing check out Wang Ye while he was half-naked, that's a directing choice. When they cut their scenes in such a way they looked like they're pining lovers, that's an editing choice. When they filmed Wang Ye baring his heart and confessing a weakness of his, framed by the stars and city skylines like it's some cheesy romance drama, that's a cinematography choice. People tend to undercut the value of the work that the crew puts into a drama. I mean, I dropped Dashing Youth within just two eps because I didn't like the script and directing. Not even Hou Minghao could save it for me. It is the job of the crew to set the stage for the actors to shine, and I think they did a great job showcasing the talent of the actors.

I will never deny that the actors have such good chemistry. But I've taken a couple of acting and improv classes before, and let me tell you--it takes time and great skill to cultivate such chemistry. For this season, Hou Minghao only filmed for three days, so it is very understandable that the new Zhuge Qing actor won't have the same level of chemistry with him as the one he and Wanyan Luorong had.

At the end of the day, they are actors who are phenomenal at their job and who happened to be good friends. It's no wonder they bounce off of each other so well. The only reason why I haven't really talked about it was because people have already talked about it so much. Too much, in my opinion. I hold no judgment for people reading too much into their friendship, but... I just don't want another 227 Incident ๐Ÿ˜ฉ When people start to point out the chemistry of two chinese male actors very loudly, it usually never ends well. Especially for the actors.

in the first season, how many eight supremes were discovered?
I'm assuming you're asking about the Eight Supreme Skills but I'll just put the maker and their heirs in case you're asking about the people who use them:
1) Zhang Huiyi's Origin of Qi (Qi Apotheosis): Heir--Zhang Chulan; (also, technically Feng Baobao? Since I'm assuming that the techniques Grandpa passed on through her with the mindlink also included Origin of Qi?)
2) Zheng Zibu's Tongtianlu Talismans: Heir--given to his friend, Lu Jin; passed down to Zhang Lingyu
3) "Big Ape's" Feng Hou Qimen (Gate of Gale): Heir--taught to three masters but they went too deep into their Inner Realm; mastered only by Wang Ye
4) Feng Tianyang's Detention and Dispatch of Souls (I don't recall the official translation): Heir--Feng Family (partial only); 10 Elders Wang Family (complete)
5) Duanmuying's Double Hands (I also don't recall the official translation): Heir--Lyu Family (partial only, rebranded as "Soul Whisperer"); Lyu Liang (complete); [SPOILER FOR POSSIBLE FUTURE SEASONS] There are two types of this skill, the other heir is Qu Tong (Ma Xianhong's "jiejie" at the end of a trailer)
6) [I don't remember if they explained it properly but...] Gu Jiting's Daluo Cave Temple: Heir--nobody knows for sure, but there are theories that a character they didn't show last season was the heir of this skill.

For the Current Season:
7) Ma Benzai's Shenji Bailian (Divine Forge, Hundred Machines?): Heir--Ma Xianhong
8) [TENTATIVE, since they didn't introduce the character last season and I'm not sure if they'll still omit him here] Ruan Feng's Six Library Immortal Thief: Heir--Barron

i have watched s1 complete...but i didnt understand this one thing so can someone explain to me exactly was is…
It was the great in-fighting within the Outsider World in the year 1944. It started when the 36 Rebels swore brotherhood with Wu Gensheng, the leader of Quan Xing. Various clans and sects hunted them down for various reasons. Some like the Mt. Longhu Zhengyi Sect wanted to take their errant disciples back home to discipline them. But most of them were like the Lyu Clan who wanted to find and seize the Eight Supreme Skills.

It's my first time using Youku... Ep 03 is a TVOD right now, but will it be available to VIP later? Or is it strictly Pay-Per-View forever as if it's cable and not a subscription service ๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜ฉ like. bro.........

But anyway. Love the first two eps so far! For me, it was kinda more fast-paced than the donghua version. I am loving Sun Yezuan as Wang Zhenqiu!!! Qiu'er is one of my fave characters so I'm glad they kept his slightly unhinged personality XD Unlike Xiao-ge who was a bit toned down right now? But not enough for me to be disappointed. I still love everyone's portrayal of the "crazy temps."

At first, I was actually really sad that Wang Ye's going to have such a little role in this drama, since he's…
To be fair, many fans of the donghua and manhua already ship the two characters even before the drama released. I'm pretty sure the reason why the QingYe scenes from Season 1 were filmed, directed, and acted the way it was because the cast and crew knew that XD (Then they tried to balance it out by omitting the "date" scenes from Beijing Arc and just made them stay in Wang Ye's room the whole time... which was more incriminating, let's be real XD). Though I do think they're going to tone down the ship-y parts this season. Or worse, they're going to lay on thick the Fu Rong x Zhuge Qing CP (When I first saw the clip with Zhuge Qing wielding a sword, my first thought was "Oh, no. Are they going to make up QingRong scenes and make them bond over swords????"). Which might suck because Biyou Village Arc had such a big impact on their relationship (may that be romantic or platonic).

Anyways. To be honest, Wanyan Luorong was a perfect fit for Zhuge Qing. He emulated the sly trickster fox that is Zhuge Qing so well. And I've seen an interview where he talked about how he spent THREE YEARS trying to get the role of Wang Ye. And when he ultimately didn't get it, he took it with grace and played the role of Zhuge Qing wholeheartedly--which showed a lot of love and dedication to YRZX. Whatever the reason why he didn't come back was, I hope he's doing well and I wish him good luck to his future endeavors <3

A 2 minutes and 30 secs clip of the 'Outcast Disco / Catwalk / Pole Dancing' scene which is likely to be a direct…
OMG XD I can't believe they also did the catwalk scene LMAO And we get to see the Operators/Upper Rooters (I don't know the official translation)! They look interesting... They keep doing end-credits jokes from the donghua, I hope Hou Minghou also sings ใ€Šไธ€่จ€ไน้ผŽ็Ž‹้“้•ฟใ€‹(translation is roughly "Words of wisdom from Wang-daozhang") and we get a street-performance scene XD
