Honestly I don't think billing was a issue, most probably it was just created by antis and haters... like this was just bullsh*t and also I don't think the script of that drama is that good, cause he wouldn't have rejected that if it was a great script... novel fans not liking him as the male protagonist is not something new, he was criticized for his role of Xiaoyuer, Zhou Siyue, Duan Jiaxu and A Zan, but at the end he still played those roles and it was just perfect!! isn't it... So I think he rejected that drama because he got so much hate and the script wasn't that good... Of course at the end it's just my thoughts.... no one knows what actually happened😐
