I watched and liked these two dramas solely because of him
A drama's success/how much it is liked by the audience doesn't entirely depends on the script though, a good script can be ruined because of bad acting and a bad script can be saved because of good acting, SF4 and PATW doesn't have good script but good acting (sorry i will not say the whole cast have good acting skills)
and tbh SF4's script wasn't that bad, i liked Yun Tianhe's character design, i loved his character development throughout the drama, so in short i only liked his character and his acting skills in SF4, also it wasn't that bad because they focused more on their friendship rather than romance between the leads.... as for PATW, it was an idol drama, not a good script
also both of these dramas were filmed before HL...
