There’s a scene in "The White Olive Tree" where Li Zan needs to give out A Zan to comfort a little girl who’s sad because she lost her dog after something bad happened. When Zheyuan (Li Zan) handed the leash to the girl, A Zan just sat there quietly, looked back and kept its eyes on Zheyuan pitifully conveying “don’t send me away”. Zheyuan can feel its emotions and it was caught on camera. He asked us to watch it when it airs cause it’s super cute and he says A Zan’s super good at acting.
One month after deciding not to keep A Zan, Zheyuan saw a dirty dog inside a cage at the filming scene. He thought it’s a stray dog until his staff told him it’s actually A Zan. He didn’t believe cause it grew bigger in size, it’s super dirty, the place it was staying there stinks and is in bad condition. Zheyuan felt very sorry for A Zan and thought it must be fate because he coincidentally met A Zan again and saw it in that condition after deciding not to keep it last time. This was when he decided he wants to take good care of it and he hopes he’s able to do that🥺 Zheyuan thinks they’re fated, because A Zan shouldn’t be appearing at that time as A Zan has no filming that day, but it showed up and Zheyuan happened to see it being helpless.
