Can I just say this before I complete the drama,,, The story is very whaCk, the acting is superb, but main fl's decisions are SO stupid- They really made her from a quite smart girl to a someone who cries at least 3 times every episode omg

1. Yes and no.. There are quite a few secrets in the drama that one character hides from the others (btw this happens to a lot of characters, you'll see what I mean when you watch it) and no as I recall I dont think there is a break up scene ever since the couple get together 2. They got together around episode 21ish? 3. This is a happy ending! :) (Half satisfying ish)

I dont want to be that person but since she is getting paired with these popular actresses despite being a newcomer and hasen't shown if shes capable yet, I can smell the hate lol. If she cant prove herself shes a good or decent actress she might get hated (just what I think)
Im not starting on this drama yet bc I want to binge watch all the episodes subbed, but wtf happened to the casts' roles?? Werent there many main roles and now I see zhang huiwen, jieqiong, and many others sqitched to support role??

He's still very young and has that visual~ very much suited for an actress and potential to become one! Would be a waste if he doesn't try acting more or get in the acting industry
Just completed this and wow.. surprisingly good paced and enjoyable for a drama that has 27 epis. Really loved the chemistry and the way they trusted each other so there's no big misunderstandings! (next sentence is spoiler) really hoped to see li che become emperor and changle to become empress days and their child grown up :( Its a very nice drama to watch when your looking for something short and enjoyable! -story: 9.5 -acting: 9.5 -music: 10 -rewatch value: 9.0 -overall: 9.5
Just finished this a minute ago and wow.. The amount of times I've cried for this drama is just- Im also glad that I ended 2020 with such a good drama :) (p.s WE NEED A SEASON 2 ASAPPP)
So its been bothering me for a while that I want to do a small rant on this drama
The drama has a very promising start, by that I mean good first impression of the fl, the fl's good bro and their friendship is very great (gonna talk about that later) although this is one of my favorite dramas of all time there are some cons and small complaints. 1 the character development of yuan jin xia and lu yi at first yuan jin xia appeared in the first episode as a smart and someone who'd you think is very cool and look up to bc of the personality lol, but as time goes by she's more naggy(?) Idk if thats the right word to use but almost like those typical c dramas where the fl is always waiting for the ml to save her or someth. But it isnt necessarily like that either. She went from a care free person to a little more girly like (?) (if you watched the drama you would knownehat im talking about hopefully lol) Lu yi also went from a very cold and strict person to a bit more softer bc of jin xia (which I kind of wish he had stayed like that towards enemies 2 jin xia and yang yue's friendship like I said their friendship was great snd promising at first but later on after he was h00ked towards shangguangxi their friendship is like not even there anymore?? He's always with her and almost never with jin xia anymore and they barely talk almost (I understand they cant always be together but jin xia and yang yue's screentime further on into the drama just makes it look like it. 3 the secondary couple's screentime it was kind of annoying but not that big of a deal for the secondary couple's screentime together. But deadass I think in one episodr their screentime was like 20 mins or someth??
These are the main cons but if I were to rate the drama again I'd still give it a 10/10 for everything despite these things :)
