Lulu's a very good actress and one of my personal top 5 favorites of all time! But the fanbase is sometimes full of immature toxic little kids lol (sorry to sum this up its usually the toxic xukai and bai lu shippers, most of the fandom is nice)
I am heavily considering dropping the drama after the first episode because of the male leads character. I can't…
He actually has a reason for that, you will understand when you get to them talking about their childhood/highschool memories. It does get sooo much better trust me!
I really enjoyed this drama honestly. It's been a long time since I've felt this attached towards a drama.. There are some cons that I would like to mention. But gave it 10/10 for the general overall review. 1. Zhang hui wen's acting.. I felt like she could've done better but I still liked her character. 2. Felt like this drama could've had some more big losses. Yizhou's death was unnecessary tbh. Rong hua dying would've been a better fit but then I would have been sad and emotional due to the sad ending of them not being together. 3. I wished there were more romance scenes or maybe even a kissing scene. Only kisses on the cheeks and forehead. I know allen's dramas don't usually have kissing scenes. (maybe bc he's married and has a child or someth idk) 4. The miscarriage rong hua had was really sad honestly. Wished she didn't had a miscarriage and had a kid while the drama is still going on would've been cool actually. Now onto the good parts I really really liked this drama despite the cons about it. It had me emotional for days even if its a happy ending (kind of) Allen's face really fits the serious and mature role (The 'glowup' after his mom sacrificed herself for him. He looks really good in black and that hairstyle nglll) And the costumes in this drama are fairly pretty. Especially rong su's baby blue outfit in the end of episode 45.
Finally started this drama despite the comments and reviews but was wondering, how much of the drama is focused…
Half and half, it's mostly revolved around the revenge and getting stronger part. Although there are a lot of romantic scenes in the beginning! It wont disappoint you :)
Just wanted to ask if this is worth watching? I watched yanxi palace before this and grew interest and curiosity for the actual storyline and what really happen back then.. Saw some clips of the drama before, is it the same as yanxi palace? One thing that confuses me is that what was empress xiaoyichun's personality? Was it like wei ying luo's character or different
Idk why but I just got bored of this drama probably three times when watching this. Bc the storyline is kind of stressful, honestly wouldve dropped it if it wasn't for xu kai buuuuut overall its still pretty good (took like 3 weeks to finish this drama bc of the times i took a breal from it which is very unlikelu for me, i usually take about a week to finish dramas)
Its quite rare to have an actor to be my favorite after watching one drama of his that I haven't finished yet. Really liked his role in love a lifetime, the romance is just *chef kisses* Will check out under the power after this since so many people recommends it! <3
