Different actors have different roles that suit them better. I've only watched one of his dramas which was Love a Lifetime and honestly I personally am impressed. Really like his acting but I respect your opinion! Sometimes the roles given to the actresses arent that well or they dont know how to express acting in it yet ^^

Im only on episode 14 and so and for me personally its really good! The thing that saved the drama at the moment is the romance, and everytine i look at the intro and trailer it gets me more hooked and excited for the further episodes!! Despite the rating and how everyone said that they dropped it after episode one, but I think that you shouldnt judge a drama just by one episode.. should always give it a try and a chance further more, ofc first episodes to anything is confusing but you just got to give it some time. Its really up to you honestly, maybe for the sake of allen try it? You may like it :) I wish I can tell you the story and give it a whole review on it but I havent even finished it lol
I was debating if I should watch this bc I'm currently watching Love a lifetime and fell in love with bis acting skills! Many people reccomend this drama and it has high ratings and reviews! I just saw the trailer and he plays a cold role in here.. Do they ever have some romantic scene or he's going to stay like that forever? ;7;
A must watch for all C drama fans especially! Theres nothing wrong or bad about the drama, theres a male antagonist and no *MAIN* female antagonist. Thats all I can say tbh. The comedy and love chemistry is amazinggg!! Overall really good! Again, nothing bad I can say about it. This is one of those dramas that you may want to watch to take a break from intense historical dramas or a drama you can't let go of just yet. Its quite refreshing to watch modern dramas from time to time (if your like me who loves historical dramas and barely watches modern dramas unless they're good) :)

When dramas are recommended to me I dont have the 'motivation' to watch it simply becauss I dont know if its good or not. If its worth to watch and even my self is afraid that i'll get bored. My lack of motivation for this drama is probably becauss I dont't know what its about maybe? I've heard plenty good stuff about it. Sometimes kind of hard for me to try new things lol

There was an episode that had er qing went to the emperor's room at night time while everyone else was asleep (keep in mind that the emperor was drunk) And yknow they did IT apparently. Because qing er was mad at fuheng. Since you've already watched this I can go to detail lol. She ran out the next morning and nobody knew except she told the empress before she suicide and fuheng
They do end up being together and yes it was a happy ending
