And you'd very likely be confused if you didn't watch the first one, at least on some of the main plot.

I'm not sure how anyone could truly dislike this drama. I think everyone needs to see it, it really is inspirational and touches on subjects that most dramas wouldn't even get near.
Major props to Fukuda Saki, for portraying such an amazing character as Haru so well.

I actually really enjoyed this. Not sure why others didn't. It's cute and relaxing and fairly humorous. (:

The doggggggggg ugh! I can't handle the sadness, they seriously made it a very emotional end for the poor thing. Very well done.
However, I have to say the cop's death was not handled well at all. I was a little sad because he was a fun character, but they didn't really seem to care much about it so I had a hard time caring myself.
Otherwise, good film!

I couldn't fairly tell you which one I prefer since I haven't finished Ikemen yet, but I did really like You're Beautiful, and I've heard that they have enough differences that its worth it to watch both, without being dissimilar. I'll get there eventually (:

I resisted watching this for sooo long. I hesitated watching it even when I started.
God it was so worth it. I'm glad I did (:

I only watched one episode of Ikemen XD Though to be fair, I've seen You're Beautiful already, so I don't feel any kind of urgency to finish it.
