oh sad to see you getting spoiled by that. that's why i immediately went to watch all eps without reading anything to keep me curious

didn't expect the girl to make me cry this hard

ep 3 was the best for me, cried like a river

this is such a great drama. first drama in 2025 that made me felt different emotions. i was crying so hard throughout the first 4 episodes.

the pacing is also unusual in typical kdramas so i wonder how the story will unfold given that there will be 16 eps.

iu and bo gum's chemistry is on fire i was screaming at their scene. also, bo gum's character made ma fall in love. such a standard guy everyone would want but doesn't exist in real life lol

i was going to drop it too because the back story is getting too long but after iu and bo gum showed up, it's getting better and I can't stop myself from watching

seems like the director wanted the first ep to be ml's pov and 2nd ep as fl's pov. however, the 2nd ep came a bit too repetitive as they already showed too much of it in ep 1. they could either show little in ep 1 to have a shocking factor when we see the ep 2 or in ep 2, they could not include too much of the scenes we already saw in ep 1

i watched the first ep and it was actually more on melo(?) rather than comedy idk

the poster made me think it was some sort of an action drama lol but the teaser looks cute might watch it

my favorite ep is ep 1 it's full of butterflies they look so good and cute together, i was smiling the whole time

yeah i also believe so. that would have been better imo

it confuses me too because when her bf proposes, she refused but then still kept on calling him her "boyfriend" in front of her ex and they get back?? the ending definitely needed more than that.

watched a lil clips of the cdrama just to get an idea of what was the fl there like and i agree with others who can't help but to compare. fl in cdrama gives deoksun vibes (?) in the reply 1988 (not sure since i literally just watched a few secs clip but that's the vibe i get) and it seems so much more fun. but the kdrama is good as it's own so i think in order to enjoy it, one should let go of the comparisons and watched it as it is

does anyone know other family dramas beside this two? comment them please, preferably a slice of life genre instead of something dark (i want to get emotional 😂)

when this was airing i tried so hard to avoid watching it because it's like some kind of incest story lol. i thought the story was about how they grew up as a family then later found out they were actually not and they like each other. that was so weird for me so i tried not to watch it. then i gave it a try now that i do not have anything to watch and bro i was completely wrong. this is honestly so good for me. i always love family drama and this one did not disappoint.

i haven't watched the cdrama so i have no expectation for this and i think being ignorant of the story made it better for me because i have no expectation. I can't stop watching it, i keep on clicking next episode - that's how hook i was. i love all the characters and the story.

one thing i thought was dragging was the family problems they could have solved 10 years ago but they only did after 20 years. but it's still understandble since they were so young back then.

i also agree with the others that there were not much proper romance development in sanha and juwon. we only saw sanha having feelings for juwon sometime in hs but jw has always viewed him as brother so it was kind of sudden. but they are actually so cute together i stopped thinking about it lol. I don't understand the others saying they have no chemistry. i also think the romance did not ruin the story. the 'family' sense was still highlighted throughout the whole story.

also, as someone who only watch this version, i like the fl character so much. i think jung chae yeon did a good job. i also really like bae hyun sung's acting here. i watched a lot of his dramas but his character here hits me different


overall rating for me is 9.2/10

the biggest factor when i rate dramas is the enjoyability, other things like "did it make sense?" or if there was a plot hole are not that big factors as long as they are not too much. i am here to enjoy myself and I don't want to overthink and overcomplicate things. my rating showed i enjoyed it a lot I don't want it to end. give it a try it's really good
