For ex, the Dumpling party after DE's death - the person who bullied Dan physically and mentally, also tried to kill Dan. So happen, it was Winter Solstice. At the same time, the doctor asked WanYin to discuss with Dan, to free YongEr from palace, which actually has been discussed between them, and approved by Dan. In a way, it was a farewell party for Yong Er too.
I take it as a small joy in the palace turmoil - when it's time to eat, just eat. βπΌ

I don't ML and FL will have a child, so only the Crown Prince can be the next Emperor, after ML and FL go back to the real world - after both are dead in the novel. π€
Crown Prince is still young, with the right Royal Tutor (perhaps, one of ML's officials), he can saved from ED's toxic upbringing. He'll be a good Emperor. π
Just my opinion, if they decide to change from the novel - as if the nation is still in good hands after ML and FL are gone.
