As I expected. In the earlier episode, ZQS's said "... Military law." In E21, he said "... for the greater good, I can sacrifice everything. "😓

In the novel, who crushed the Nine at the end? ZQS ?

WLG : What's the saying?
1 chicken, 2 drumsticks.
Buddy : 2 stones, 1 bird.
*Their confidence is gold. 😅

This is what I think. To search for WLG and the monster,  they split into 4 teams.

The locals team.
XiaoYu's team.
TeiZui's team.
ZQS

TeiZui's team, fell underground and found the box with the plant. All alived.

Xiao Yu's team was attacked by the monster. ZQS killed the monster. Only XiaoYu survived.

The locals team has 2 survivors, a man and the baby. He told ZQS that the Jap controlling the monster was an undead.

The 401 unit, is still missing. Most probably imprisoned at the same place with WLG, but in different cells.

You're so on point . 💯👍🏼

You're right. He just hasn't realised it yet. 😅

Thanks . 👍🏼

Anxiously waiting what the pill can do. WLG must be only joking about trying it on ZQS, right? 😅

WLG has moved ZQS's icy heart with his willingness to trust ZQS, even the chance of ZQS choosing to save Mystic Nine is only 1/10. WLG is betting on empathy, although he knows that Military order is 90% ZQS's priority.

Now, waiting for WLG to be moved by ZQS.

What?! Laoguo didn't command the beast to finish off the Japs? Whyyyy ...

I might be wrong, but Laoguo seemed to have taught the Jap how to control the beast. But, the beast most likely had him for dinner. 🤔

The Zhangs ... Qishan must be very sad. 😓

Today, only 1 episode is torture. 😣

Same here. So many times I want to rant sbout her but ... Well, I still want to finish this. ✌🏼☺️

If I'm not mistaken, it was 8.1 last 10 hours. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I think you are right about the director thing.
I hope Yuan's hard work pays off too. ☺️

Just sharing ...
I took a peek at E01 Time Raiders, XLG is still alive, living together with Wu Xie. Will continue after finishing this and Mystic Nine S1.

I like WLG too. I like his honesty. He clearly shows whom he loves, cares and also hates.

The same actor playing WLG is Wu Xie in Ultimate Note.

The jap said it was all science but he will not explain until WLG succeed in taming the beast. Let's wait. I'm curious too.

How old was young Xian Gu in S1?
I'm slowly watching S1, now at E07. The young Xian Gu hasn't appeared yet.
Thanks.

Thanks ! 😍

You can watch this stand alone. In E05, an army official explains the story of each Mystic Nine masters.

The Mystic Nine 2016 Yin Xin Yue was Zhao LinYing.
As far as I know, Zhao Li Ying doesn't do 2nd season. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Mystic Nine 2026 Yin Xin Yue, perhaps too young to look like a wife, perhaps the reason for siblings vibes.

Anyway, it's OK. Her role is small, I think only a few minutes in E01 (or was it in E02).

Not between the main leads. Both have different principles.

ZQS : Would sacrifice a life for the greater good. Live according to the military law.

WLG : Every life is important, )even animals) no matter how insignificant the life is. Don't care much about the law.

But, I think, while investigating 401 case, they will eventually meet in the middle, most probably not close but not enemies anymore.
