In E01, about 25 minutes in, ML wanted to burn her exam permit sheet. She said stop. That paper was her life line. He asked why. She briefly told him about a teenage boy who saved her. The boy advised her about education 10 years ago. Since then, she wanted to take the exam and have the power as an official.

In E03, about 30 minutes in, ML talked to his buddy about his time in Shouzhou. In one of his missions in the desert, he recalls a girl stole his jade pendant. He followed the girl, and later advised her about being an official. So, from FL's story, he knew it was her.

I hope he stays 'gentleman' till the end. Even when FL rejects him, eventually. ☺️

I want to see more of FL respecting ML for all that he has done for her. Don't just bash him without understanding his position as an Emperor.

He is trying to catch the mastermind. If she keeps on executing the small fish without trial/investigation, it's like letting go of a method to track down the big fish. Somehow, I feel FL is thinking short term.

Not liking ZQS attitude. He was supposed to meet ZQS in the theater hall, but he left first. ZQS knew WLG was poisoned but never mind, someone else was looking for him. 😓

WLG is now struggling to resurrect his people. I wonder ifthe trauma he experience there, caused him to 'lose it' , and made some bad decisions later. 😓

I recall Wu Xie in Time Raiders mentioned, '... He got educated after 1949, and recognized his past mistakes. To start a new, he gave away his wealth, married into Hangzhou, and opened an antique shop...."
