Twice?
I think, I repeated 5 times, or so. That 'smile' is addictive. 😅

Couldn't find the scenes either - maybe the scenes were cut. If I'm not mistaken, this show was cut from 32 episodes to 28.
I might be wrong though ... Sorry.

I'm lost.
Who poisoned Wang Pu? He, himself or Yan Feng Shan?
Thanks.

Ooo .. I don't blame Li Liu. She was hungry and cold, and what she did was just to survive.

But, she knew her family name is Liu, which if I'm not mistaken she never told anyone. With the amulet, Yfs put together 'Li Liu' - of course, he knew her real name.

With the 'blessing' divination, she wanted to reunite with her brother in Chang An, but Yfs was actually sending her to her death.

I'm waiting for Yfs's death. I hope it's a horrible death - worse than buried in the soil for 7 years, and finally burned to death. 😈

Only answering 2) .

Actually, she remembered everything. She pretended to forget her memories after the good hearted family welcomed her. She decided to leave her brother for a better life.

As she grew older, she tried to search for him, but she couldn't find him. She didn't know that Huan Ai was her brother, because he kept her in the dark. He thought keeping her away from him would make her safe and happy.

When she realised that Huan Ai was her brother from the lady's story, she got back her real name, Liu Li and went back to Chang An to reunite with him.

Or he will live on peacefully, sitting on a chair with a cat on his lap, fulfilling his sister's last wish, like in the drawing.

Cheng Yi deserves an award for this role.
In fact, the whole production deserves an award too.

Frankly, I watched it for Chen Zhe Yuan. It was my first CDrama for that era. 😊

Really like your point '... coming together to fight ... ' .
I've watched 'Dark Night and Dawn', it's OK but like you said, it's glorifying CCP. This one is different.

I notice that whenever CY's new drama starts airing, some new accounts will bash him hard. But, down rating his previous drama too - that's weird. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I haven't watched Deep Lurk yet, so will be watching this while waiting for Vendetta Of An's next episodes. Damn! That show is good! Loving the ruthless Xie Huai An. 🤩

CY's dramas might not be highly rated in MDL, but CY's 3 characters standees at iQIYI Scream Night 2025, stood tall. 🥳

Still watching just to see how karma going to get SSM. 😠

Thanks ! 🎉

Just a few episodes of Love A Lifetime. He's a carefree warrior there. Now, I know, he can act funny/cute too. 😊

Hope Mr Ma clears his name today. 😊

This fact is interesting. Thank you ! 😊

You have a point. The Eunuch controls the Emperor. Very powerful indeed. 😣

More villains added, but their ending, not known yet.

Sorry, I have a question.
His own drama? Mmm ... Like he chose this script?

I wonder the kanji for 'Yu' is fish. Well, sea vs fish seems fit. 😊

He Xian,
Please stay a loyal family man. A bit alarmed since the 1st FL on the list is not his wife. 😣
I like RJL character here, hope the screenwriter won't spoil it. 😊
