Btw, FuGui wanted to give his sword meridian to save RuMu. Perhaps, that's why he acted as if he obliged to Yiqi's Alliance nonsense claim.

On episode 2 of Fated Hearts, and I'm not so sure their hearts are Fated. I can forgive a lot of things, but torture…
They're still enemies in episode 2. ML was not convinced that FL lost her memories, hence the torture to get the truth out of her. Later, he believed her, which led from enemies to partners in crime. Only after they had mutual trust, romance gets its way in.
