I finally found the courage to watch ep10 (and time, coz bruh it's 4.5hrs long just for another disappointing finale 😭) I still think polarix (even the grp name is better) has much better lineup compared to close your eyes (whoever came up of that awful grp name be damned lol)
6/9 are talented 😍 Anyone who followed the show can clearly tell they'll have no probs dedicating members for specific positions esp vocals 🥰 As for the "problematic" members, I think xinche is the easiest to swallow among those three. He's quite funny so I think he'll do well during variety show guestings. And his interactions with the other skilled members are fun to watch too. And since it's already well established that Kfans are crazy about visuals, as long as he looks pretty and acts cute they'll most likely give him a pass regardless of his performance early days of debut. Plus, he's got tons (maybe?) of Cfans so hopefully that'll help with sales later on lol. Perhaps same with daeul (I mean, if he managed to snag top9 then he must also be popular right? Is he rich?) For me it's only that xu guy (I canT really manage to remember his name 😅) that's truly bothersome. He was a nightmare during Butter. Did he improve? I don't think anybody actually remembers any of his other performances. If prod team didn't give him much screentime for most of the show's duration, then doesn't that mean not even them expected him to debut? 🤔 Atleast xinche and daeul consistently ranked high (even tho it's annoying lol) but this xu guy just got picked up by the radar only on ep9. Like whaaat!?
It seems Cube will be managing them along with iqiyi's idol company, contract for 2yrs 6mos? I read somewhere Idol Youth Ent is no good at handing iqiyi idol shows winners 😰 Then there's cube 😑

I'm still just half way through ep05, but I'm already upset with the intercept battle results (I'm sure the ranking later on will be more upsetting ). Team beat and team rhythm bench should've won! Sexy concept featuring abs won over the more fitting stage perf by woongki's team, like how? 😤 And as much as I like park han 🥰, sirin's team did great overall tbh. Groove had messed up a dance part and the same guy whose voice cracked last week did the same mistake again this time 😮💨

Pocketdol's other boy group, fantasy boys, represented by minseo and hanbin are doing quite well too!!!! Esp minseo. He's getting more attention now on P7 compared to his time on FB. Hanbin's vocals still great....but he seems like a bit too gloomy this time around? (He really does seem unmotivated). He's looking like he was just forced to be there. Can't really blame him tho....
When their contract with pocketdol ends I sincerely hope they sign up with a much better company who'll do a lot better promoting them.

Sotus S is so far the only BL SEQUEL I've really liked!! I like MaxTul esp in TWM the series, but The Next Chapter is just too much for me. I may seem shallow but I watch bl SERIES mainly for the fun&fluff of it, a little bit of drama in it here&there is inevitable. But I can only stand bl serious drama if it's in movies and short films.
As much as I enjoyed TTTS (mainly bcoz of Mild), I am not really looking forward to this sequel. For me, most likely it'll be like TWM The Next Chapter all over again. I'll bet there'll be a lot more tearjerking/heartbreaking scenes than TTTS, since it's supposed to be a more serious and more mature portrayal of the MCs love story. It'd be a lot worse to handle if the production team wants to make the storyline as close to real life scenarios as possible (like maybe deviating from the novel; I heard there's NO cheating, but who knows for sure, right?). I'm guessing a lot more conflict for Type's character (seems to me TTTS already used&abused tharn's character the first time around, so it should be type's turn now on this sequel). Heavy dramas are not my cup of tea, so I'll probably end up just watching some of its clips and not bother with the entire series episode.

Nothing really special happened to him after he was exposed as gay. He and da heen became closer like bestfriends. He remain friends with jun woo and the rest of da heen's gang. Basically that's it.... so frustrating right?
The final episode left me speechless....and not in a good way :/
