I have every authority to comment here. I have only watched 1 episode of Fanboy - saving it to binge. But watching this one weekly - and i can see its gmmtv cliché.

Im watching it at 3x speed while doing other tasks - its barely an inconvenience.
Really its not a deep complicated plot, the script is very basic as is the emotional development. Nothing deep or complicated as the simple minded parasocials are making it out to be.

ANSWER: the boring plot.

Minor dysfunctional behaviour due to trauma but they are NOT red flags. They are not toxic people who manipulate, control, gaslight, cheat,. love bombing, control.
