ning - honestly, she didn't really get on my nerves. not until the end, because jean was SO right when he said that she just wanted to die to run away from her problems. or just being selfish so she could feel like she was doing something right for once.

jean - also no problems generally. if i had any, i can't remember (whoops) but his character was so interesting in the sense that he did something new and i could do nothing but cackle. namely him pulling the gun on non i could not stop laughing because WOW that was so unexpected but not surprising at the same time.

prao - might be controversial, but i LOVED her. don't get me wrong, she pissed me off plenty of times, but everything she said i was yelling "LITERALLY" at my screen. mainly when she said that thing about the "male shitshow" BECAUSE I WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT IT SECONDS AGO she carries a considerable side of misandry and overall bitchiness and idk i fw it

phu - also one of my goats bro he was perfect. he said everything i wanted him to say as well (eg. the really guys? right now? in the last ep) he was calm, level headed, and still didn't really get belligerent like everyone else did. i get that it's a stressful situation, but do we need to be sarcastic and yelling at everyone all the time?

pao - complicated dude. obviously, he had mental health issues, and i know it's like insanely hard to go cold turkey. on top of his existing problems, they were coming back full force PLUS withdrawals IN THE MIDDLE OF A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE so i don't feel anything but sad for him. i don't think it was wrong to constrain him in that room, like i think they were right that he needed to stay there for a bit (were the restraints themselves overboard YES but i dont doubt he woulda done some jinjitsu crap with his feet to finish gus off)

pe gang - did not deserve to die. the smartest people (+ phu) in the whole situation, earth had every right to betray them, and i think they treated the others with as much roughness as they deserved.

cheerleaders - subjectively kinda pointless but i get that the show was trying to place emphasis on relationships so not pointless at all objectively. the cheer was really catchy. keng looked really cute in that type of character. sun and lily :((( also poppy and tonnam have a talent of making things funny even when its like not supposed to be funny LOL but i think that was just from my previous image of them

all (erm most) of the actors did GREAT like that was such a high point of this show that they all put their best feet forward for these roles and i actually enjoyed watching these characters even though they seriously stressed me out. especially yim, like idk i loved seeing him in this sort of role.

i think domundi should stick to these kinds of projects, like khemjira and zomvivor. the supernatural, or just more serious tone is going well for them. or maybe i'm enjoying it more. idk.

all in all it had its flaws, yes, but i need season 2 ASAP!! 7 episodes is simply not enough

reincarnation is a cycle, and as the show said, the next lives pay for the karma accumulated during your past lives.

to stop rebirth, in Hinduism, you have to attain moksha, which is freedom from the cycle, so i assume it's sort of similar with Buddhism and nirvana? i think you have to get to the state of nirvana (enlightenment), which usually requires a lot of self-introspection and meditation, stop the cycle. buddhism's all about detachment, so you have to detach yourself from worldly things and feelings (like a monk, but you dont *need* to be a monk. it just helps speed-run the process)

pharan definitely has not done that (we all saw those nc scenes), so he will be reincarnated until he tries and successfully reaches nirvana. i don't believe he'll go back to being a god, because of his curse. as for khem, he will be reincarnated. since the karma that previously tied him to ramphueng has been cleared up in his current life, it won't impact his next life. as for any of his other karma accumulated in the past, good or bad, that will impact his next lives.

this is from the perspective of a HIndu i think our beliefs in reincarnation and moving on are quite similar and i did some very surface level google-ing so hopefully that made sense

i get what you're saying but i feel like we need to factor in the fact that khem had the ability to see ghosts all his life which probably upped his fear factor a bit *and* knew about his impending death for a while. it would be hard to be lively after that i feel. though i agree about what you said earlier, i think he could have been more expressionate while pharan was getting hurt

you kinda have to see it from his perspective though... khem was dealing with a nastyyy case of survivor's guilt. and of course, the people around him did their best to assure him, but it's not something that goes away easily.

i was thinking along the same line as you, like these people have literally busted their asses day and night to save you and you just... walk out... wtf was the point... then seconds later he said that line about watching someone just die in his past life and not doing anything about it. and then i was reminded of what he had to go through with yai si, thong and ake, the danger the kids doing the play were in, the constant worrying for his loved ones, and it makes total sense.

in that very moment, it looked like there was no other outcome besides sacrificing himself or watching pharan die. obviously, there's the argument of having more faith in pharan, the dude with powers, but then the whole weapon thing happened yadda yadda im sure we watched the same show lol
