Ik you were stating your opinion, and I respect that but all I wanted to do was inform you in the process. Even myself, I did not till today. I just wanted to help share the misunderstanding. I never said anything about u saying he was not talented at all.

His stylist and the crew have decided to make his character portray that look. Also apparently this drama was filmed BEFORE AROTLF.
In HWMA, "the booting ceremony was December 31, 2021, and they filmed for 7 months. On July 8, 2022, it was announced the film wrap up", while the booting ceremony for AROTLF started on July 6th, 2021, and wrapped up on October 12, 2022.
It must've been not easy for him to switch out too much what he recently filmed from another drama. I'm NOT saying he's not talented, but keep in mind he is an actor and they usually don't have much time on their hands.
Since AROTLF was aired BEFORE HWMA even though HWMA was filmed earlier, it is easy to think why his character in AROTLF is so similar to HWMA. But now we know that is not the case here.

Her name is Xia Zhi. She isn't a big character, so her appearance comes in and out throughout the drama. She's a person to cause inconvenience and not drama. She is "obsessed" more towards the end of the drama.

No, she did not succeed. She thought she would but as she was Mei Ren took care of the incident well and fought back. In the end, the second lead lost. She also tries to go to Zhuang Yu too, but that fails also.
Mei Ren took some bird pictures with Zhuang Yu and she showed them to him. He then saw those pictures on Weibo with her bird account. He also saw her logged in to her bird account when she was babysitting his brother during that. (In that scene she also was able to do Zhuang Yu’s younger brother’s math hw very easily; along with her able to tally up the total amount she owned Zhuang Yu for the damages from the leakage. What I’m saying here is she is well knowledge and smart, and for a person who is trying to act dumb that does not add up.) Another thing he realizes is how well-versed she is in her knowledge of birds. So her coming to school during a certain time of the year helped him distinguish that she wasn’t doing general education (undergrad). Then he realized when she was in classes she didn’t look like she was on vacation (like doing classes for fun) which concludes her being a teacher. Plus the teacher that recommended her to be a TA (teaching assistant) is very close to Lao Li.
tbh I'm not that mad at them for cutting the library scene bc what happened after was funny and just as sweet enough 🥰 This episode was just so sweet that it made up for it. Plus I got to hear Zhuang Yu confess how he knew she was a teacher with his brilliant skills, along with Mei Ren telling him that she knew him in high school!
