Title Naeil's Cantabile Spoiler
Why would they bring in such a useless, piece of trash Yoon Hoo, character? Like seriously, he's disgusting,…
I would not have said it quite that way, but I get the sentiment behind it. I think they introduced the character to create (romantic) conflict, but I remember feeling at the time that it was totally unnecessary (ugh, love triangle, right?). I disliked just about all of Yoon Hoo's personal (non-music) interactions with nearly everyone for most of the drama. It got better later, but meh.

I did like his arc with the injury and whatnot. He wasn't a totally useless character for that reason, at least to me.

I still liked the drama a lot, but I also did not get the Yoon Hoo love. At all.

Title Hero
For those who finished this. Is it worth it ? I'm a bit skeptical because of bad comments.
Okay, my opinion, since no one else has answered. I started this drama...two years ago? Something like that. I watched the first 6 episodes. I liked it, but didn't love it; left it there, intending to go back to it.

I just finally did so and finished it a day or two ago. The story isn't complicated enough that I even forgot much of what was happening. That might be a bad thing if you're just watching straight through, but it worked for me, haha. Anyway, I liked the last three eps, too. Overall, I thought it was a good drama, not great, but good. There is something of a decrease in quality from the beginning, but it never gets truly bad. To me, at least. The ending isn't even a bad ending. (I go into all kdrama endings with very low expectations, though.) It seemed to me that they were leaving it a little bit open in case of a second season, but clearly that never happened. It suffers a little because of that, but still. I found it enjoyable.

And it's 9 episodes. It's not like it's a big time investment. :) So if you're still wondering 8 months later...

Title Monster
I thought this was going to be something like Five Fingers (I actually enjoyed this) or even better, Bridal Mask,…
I see you got to episode 7? I'm nearly up-to-date (I'm a week behind right now). Well, I would agree for sure that the episodes just after the transition to the adult cast were super weird (the training episodes). I would say that for me it got better after that, then I lost interest a little, and then it picked up again a little later (somewhere in the 20's or so on). But then I actually like the odd comedy streak this show has, now that it's settled into its groove (again, agree that the early eps were not so good in that respect).

It's not a great drama, but it's pretty entertaining for me for the most part. It sounds like you probably shouldn't pick it back up, though. It never gets truly dark and revengy, which has disappointed me a little too. Just thought I'd chime in since no one else has.

Seen exactly half of these, agree on White Christmas and Page Turner, but otherwise, none of my favorite specials are here. There are just so many of them that's it's no wonder, I guess. I'm glad KBS is still more or less in the drama special game though. I watch a lot of them when I can't decide what else to watch, ha.

Park Ki Woong <3 I fangirl every time Do Gun Woo is on the screen x'D I don't think this is okay haha
Aw, of course it's okay! Why would that not be okay? Is that not totally normal? hahaha

I'm think I'm still a little in shock that he's actually back. :)

The comments on YT are really bad, but I really really liked this ^^ I liked the lead actress and I liked the…
I think it had potential, and actually had an interesting premise, but overall it was probably the worst drama special I've seen. I may have actually come away with a more negative impression because it squandered all that potential, haha.

I agree though that Se Hyun was a really interesting character. Best part of the drama for sure.

I've had this on hold for few years and today I tried to continue it. Encountered the same problem why I put it…
Well, I can tell you right now that there are at least three different versions of the subs out there. :)

If you don't like the ones you've seen, there might be something you like better. I think most of the random streaming sites probably have the weird version, but viki has it too (their own version, obviously), and the subs ripped from the DVD version are also out there.

This is making me want to rewatch this drama, haha. It would be a shame to miss a good drama because of crappy subs, so hopefully this helps a little. If not, ask or PM.

Where were you watching? Or what version of the subs? I don't remember the subs being particularly bad when I watched a few years ago, so maybe there are multiple versions out there?

Although I do see a lot of awkward wording, taking a quick glance through the version I have. Spelling errors, English errors...I must have just not cared. I do see at least one other version of the subs than the one I have, so there's another option out there, if you've got the same version I've got. :)

I usually get bored with only romance genre kind of dramas, i am more into investigation, crime, law etc. So i've…
I can't make it through (or don't even start) most romance-heavy dramas either. But this one's not like the usual rom-com. Plus, Kang Chul's a lawyer! So there you go. Categorize it as law ;)

I'd say try a couple of episodes and see what you think (if you didn't already).

Title Set Me Free Spoiler
Spoiler Ahead so wait until you watch the movie. It's a tough movie to watch. No easy answers. Really no answers.…
If it makes you feel better, I had a slightly less bleak interpretation of the ending. I do think he was treating that meeting with his brother as the last time they might ever see each other again, but I wasn't thinking suicide. I think he's still trying to get "out" (whatever that means to him, and us), however he can, so he plans to go to this new place and never tell anyone in his family where he is. In his mind, his plan still could have worked if his bio dad hadn't kept interfering, showing up all the time, exposing Young Jae's lies about his dad's health, trying to divest himself of the burden of his only remaining child, etc. And there's probably some truth to that. To me, it seems like Young Jae's "free" is freedom from his past and his father, specifically. He loves his brother, but he's well aware that his own life becomes 100 times more difficult than it already is if he has to care for him too. And any connection with him means keeping a connection with his father, so that's that. Painful as it is. He has nothing to give but some old clothes so that's what he does. He can't say where he's going, or even that he's going, but he wants to do something for his brother before he disappears. Bleak as his future may be, I really did not think suicide was on his mind at that moment as I watched.

I really loved this movie. I'm glad more people are finally watching it. Those awards are totally deserved.

Title A Man's Story Spoiler
sad or happy ending?
I assume you mean which female lead has some kind of romantic storyline with Park Yong Ha's character? If so, then the answer is: both. If you mean who ends up with him at the end, the answer is: neither. Just watch. I don't understand why you'd want to know what happens before you watch. :)
