I agree, the other version was much better. The actors were good, but Wendy's character wasn't as likeable as in the other one. She also seemed kind of useless unless Logan was there (with his military support unit with sniper rifles and tactical gear lol) to rescue her, whereas in the other version, the FL only relied on the ML once I think, she did most things herself. Even then in the other one, it wasn't just about brute force, it was about outsmarting the brothers behind the scenes.
This version's plotlines were kind of silly (which is fine), but it took itself seriously and there wasn't a lot of humour or jokes to balance it out, except the hilarious amounts of druggings, of course.
Also, the motivations of the brothers seemed to be mostly around Cara, rather than the financial benefit, which was their focus in the first one.
I also thought the plot point about their childhoods in the hospital was a little wasted, I thought that might have been leading up to something interesting, but it didn't really go anywhere.
All in all, it was okay, but I definitely recommend watching the other version instead.

I've only seen this version of the story so I can't comment on the other one, I'll probably watch it tonight and let you know what I think.
I really enjoyed this one though. The cast are all very beautiful.
I've seen Liu Yan Chen in another drama (he was in a wheelchair in that one too!) and I really like his acting. He's very subtle and doesn't overdo it, making his characters quite intriguing.
I did find it amusing how Xu Shiqing and her dad let the three suitors and Xiao stay in the house for so long even after she realised how badly they were treating her. I was yelling "Kick them out already!" at the screen!
I wish there had been more scenes with Shiqing and Jin Heng, and I loved how he put off telling her the truth so he could get more massages from her! That was really funny.
I would have also liked more scenes with the couple and their older relatives, maybe rather than so many with the three suitors (as nice to look at as they were!) as they ended up getting a bit repetitive.
I did enjoy it though, it was a nice drama. (Sorry for the essay, I tend to ramble a bit!)
