I agree. They make you feel pity for both, but honestly the only one who deserves everything is Kangha. I just wanted to give him a hug. Jaeyi made him feel so confused. Ri a could’ve prevented his brother’s death but didn’t. The only one I like overall is Kangha

I’ll be honest, the drama overall was pretty mid. Of course, I somehow expected more. Although the first episode was good, idk, it kinda got a bit muddled as it went on. Watched for Lee Chaemin, and Lee Chaemin only. Honestly hope that he and Roh Jeong Eui star in another project together.

Idk why, but I feel like they'd dump the 7 episodes out and then announce a "second season"🤷‍♀️. it's such a netflix thing to do: gyeongseong creature, the glory

I tried to resist watching the drama until more episodes came out, but it was way too tempting and TikTok convinced me😭 managed to binge the first 2 episodes just now but it will take weeks for all the episodes to come out!!! let them have a happy ending for once😭😭🙏

I’ve watched many Chinese short dramas but many have failed to be appealing to me. The only one which I’ve liked was ‘Don’t mess with Ex Girlfriend’, but after starting this one, I’ve come to really enjoy it. The drama is pretty well paced and the storyline is nice too. I really love the trope, like: ‘No one can touch her but me’ or ‘you protect the world, I protect you’.

Also, the leads….. OMG!! They make me blush every time I see them together✨ the chemistry is chemistry-ing and I’m loving the current plot. Can’t wait to see what comes next!!

Although I can understand some of the comments, I’m tired of having to continue to say this: Blame the script, the director’s ideas, the censorship in china itself and NOT THE ACTORS. This may not be your sip of tea but don’t blame the actors for it. They full on carried the entire show and Lin Yi and Zhou Ye’s chemistry was unmatched both on and off screen. Keep the actors seperate.

I do hope that Lin Yi and Zhou Ye are able to work together on more projects in the future because I seriously wish we got just a bit more than what we received. Too many scenes that were significant to the drama were deleted due to the censorship in china. In hopes for the future, if they do work together again for another/more projects, I hope that the drama focuses on more romance and provides more of the sweet scenes to us. Let’s pray😭🙏. Although I love them and the drama, it did them a bit dirty and potential was slightly wasted. Let’s pray for them to have another project together in the future so that we are able to receive more content from them as a CP🥹🙏💗

I just hope Linyi and Zhouye do more projects together. They really carried the show. I hope they pair up again for a different concept that gives us more romance :)

I really do hope Lin Yi and Zhou Ye work together on more projects. I can't move on from them😭😭.
From my prediction, if they do, it's most likely going to be modern (which I love!!) because Lin Yi mostly only does modern dramas. But I'd love a different concept. I guess, maybe more fast paced, more romance scenes, a different story (although I did love this one), and possibly more intimate. I had no problem with this drama, but I'd love to see more from them if they get more opportunities together in the future. I loved their characters so I wouldn't mind it, but it would be refreshing to have a new concept.

As Lin Yi said in the interview, it's best to change themes as it would be tiring. Gu Xun did deserve some karma, but I know we were all tired of seeing him ask for forgiveness. Please happen!!

- This drama is a very light one with almost no big drama
- Both the leads are very beautiful and their chemistry is probably one of the best out of most cdramas
- The FL's outfits were literally so PRETTY
- I loved the love story
- The slow burn was executed well as it made me feel butterflies all the way through :)
- No love triangles
- Sweet and romantic scenes
- Fun comedy moments from the leads
- Loved the personalities of these two characters
- I adored the FL and her characteristics. She didn't let things get to her easily and made people 'work hard' to earn her respect
- Lin Yi and Zhou Ye had natural on-screen chemistry and you can see that they have both grown very close with one another. Their chemistry on and off screen was really cute, and these two have developed a very close relationship in real life too. I love how comfortable they both are with one another, and they both mentioned that they still chat through WeChat from time to time too

However...
- the first few episodes (1-5 ish) didn't feel TOO special, but I accepted it because of my love for Lin Yi and Zhou Ye
- just like how others would say, the emotions were kind of dragged a bit too long. As much as I love this drama to bits, I do have to say that they spent too long holding grudges and not confessing sooner
- I wish the dating era was longer. I love these two, but it just felt too short. Their chemistry really saved it but I wish we got to see more like dates, etc. The build up was good, but they ran out of episodes to include the extra bits

I hope and wish that Lin Yi and Zhou Ye work in more projects together because I'm not ready to move on😭😭. I honestly don't know what to do now that it's finished. Lin Yi and Zhou Ye are so perfect. I'm manifesting for more projects of linzhouye so much!!!!!! Please hear out prayers and cast them in more dramas!!!!

I think there might have been a scene that they recorded, but didn’t release. I heard that many scenes weren’t released due to the censorship in China😔 wish YOUKU could release all the deleted scenes to international fans instead of in China because there’s just too much that we haven’t seen
