Txs for the review. I watched it a while back. And I loved the story, but embarrassingly, toward the end, I lost…
Yes, most asadoras are fairly predictable, somehow this one kept me engaged throughout! Funny, I was really exhausted after watching Okaeri Mone and didn't feel up to watching another asadora, but somehow found Toto Neechan a breath of fresh air! Plus I really love Mitsuki Takahata!
Excuse me, but where can I watch and download this movie. I LOVE seeing strong female leads.
I saw this ages ago on the old OURHOUR drama site ...since then, they have changed their name to Plotboxes but I am not sure they still have their older movies up for grabs...you can find them here: https://plotboxes.livejournal.com/
She was one of the very first "moms" I knew when I first began seriously watching J-dramas in 1996's Kagayake…
Always glad to connect with other drama fans! I have a blog where I discuss more of the dramas I'm watching here: https://zdoramaagain.blogspot.com/ If you feel like checking it out! :)
I just watched this drama a few weeks ago, myself! Agree with you on the points of it not being a romance drama per se but more about life relationships with an ensemble cast.
This drama (naturally) reminded me of Ryoko Shinohara's "Haken No Hinkaku" which I loved very much, so it was great seeing her againcharacters
And OMG, I totally agree on "We Will Rock You", just stuck out like a sore thumb every time the show began!!
PS I dug this old show out primarily because I had renewed interest in Sayaka Yamaguchi but holy crap, her flippant attitude in the first half of the show was driving me crazy...! LOL
Thanks for reading my review!
