after this ep25 &26. I’m here to say I’m sat again for what’s to come.. fifth sister underestimated…
I had the same thought about Bai, but I still don't know how fulfilling that would be. Unless RYS actually pays a heavy price for what she did. That would make it worth it to me.
Scholar Bai is so funny to me. Everyone and their mother told him that RYS was dangerous and didn't deserve him. His mantra was "I can change her". Now she's done exactly what they all warned him about and the response is let's destroy the entire family? Mind you, not a single person in that family had a thing to do with him and that foolish woman's relationship. Hilarious
Scholar Bai is such a weird and idiotic fellow. He can see the kind of person RYS is, and instead of just walking away, he decided the solution was to help her and then threaten her to force her to leave with him? To what end? I keep hoping for his death and I remain disappointed.
I'm glad RSB is a long-term schemer and allowing her plans to be complemented by LJL. She's taken the "give them enough rope to hang themselves" approach but I don't want any mercy at the end. Off with all their heads. Including grandma for making her take that stupid oath and for raising her granddaughters like this. She really projected one bad experience with her husband onto an entire generation. Yikes.
you guys here are worrying me, you are exactly the new kind of global audience that falls for microdramas. RELAX…
Art is subjective and evokes different reactions from different audiences. Your inability to scroll past an opinion you disagree with should worry you more, imo.
Not this lady hunting that man down at his job, and then being like "why won't he acknowledge me" when they meet outside 😭 ma'am, that's his JOB. You are not friends 😂😂
Two things for me with this... First, it absolutely does not need a body swap. In fact, the story is already so convoluted that a body swap for me, would do nothing but waste valuable time on a stupid trope. Second, this definitely doesn't need to be 16 episodes long. It's only ep 3 and I'm already getting exhausted with the pointless misunderstandings and lies. I see no reason to keep the secret of the marriage from her father. He's not a child. Just let him know what is going on and how they're under threat. I see no reason for not telling the prince she's engaged. I see no reason for the prince hiding his identity. Just a lot of going round and round for nothing in my opinion.
Oh, I have to say I screamed when I saw Xu Song cos that actor played the exact same despicable official in The Double 🤣🤣🤣 same vibes n everything! Just missing a massive face mole.
So far, I've picked up maybe 3 main things from this drama... 1. Majority of the men believe they're entitled to some part of RSB and when they don't get it, they're set on ruining her instead. Glad I clocked the waste of space cousin from scene 1 so I knew exactly what was coming with him. 2. The grandma contradicts herself every other scene and refuses to accept that not only are the girls all vipers in training (yes, including RSB), but she is wholly responsible for what they are and why they keep trying to take each other down or ruin RSB. 3. RSB is not as smart or calculating as she thinks she is and she's not paying close enough attention to the real threat. She's a tea goddess, yes, and she's very good at scheming, but she's not a swiss army knife - she still needs help. LJL already told her that she's not as ruthless as the 'blind' sister/cousin, and I really hope she's spent some time working through that statement.
The younger sister who keeps screeching anytime she's onscreen is getting on my last nerve. I wish she'd borrow a brain cell or SOMETHING.
I've binged all of this show in about 72 hours and I'm enjoying it now. I had to work my way past the beginning but now I'm happy with it.
I always find these family members plotting against each other fascinating. Everyone acknowledges that she's a tea genius, but they want to turn their empire into another mediocre tea business that'll eventually fail by getting rid of her. Where is the logic? At least, the sisters should be as good if they want to remove her from the equation. Like, their bright idea is to call her a fraud in public and ruin the entire family's reputation. Geniuses. For real.
I'm only 5 episodes in and I still don't understand why she's keeping him... Synopsis says it's for revenge but he didn't actually do anything to her, in fact , weren't they both investigating the same thing just from different angles? Is the beef that he called her for questioning? That's reason enough to hold him hostage? I'm not getting it...
I enjoyed the final episodes a lot and while I did not want to see ZX for even a second again, I was happy to see that even a decade later, that loser was still alone. So glad that his colleague moved on from that disaster.
XG and LYS were amazing but I was sad we didn't get to see Yu Sen's mother again. I was hoping we'd get to see her for their wedding. All in all, this was a great time!
Wasn't the reason she took the case was because Raik's original lawyer dropped it? When he cursed in front of…
She may have come to that eventually, but she rushed to the police station and was the first on the case absolutely because she's a diehard fan who was obsessively keeping tabs on him. I don't doubt her abilities at all, but the only reason she was interested wasn't because noone wanted the case, she was already invested. Now, once she got in a room with the human Ra Ik, she realised that there was more there, but I'm pretty sure she would have found a way to interfere even if the other lawyer did take the case.
i have a legal background so i’m so annoyed by how totally weak the case is but it’s being played up as damning…
And he didn't even sign anything. Even if he said he wanted to leave, his mother signed a contract, not him. How they think that's going to doom him is beyond me. I kept asking myself if I was missing something.
If he feels this betrayed and upset by Se Na (which is his right and makes sense considering what we’ve seen…
I think things with WS wouldn't have been so bad if his mother wasn't such a deadbeat loser. If she hadn't signed that contract and collected the advance, they may have been able to keep things quiet until WS was able to talk to the whole group. Although Ra Ik probably wouldn't have been able to leave anyway cos I'm sure the CEO was blackmailing him to stay.
In next episode teaser when Park Chung Jae ask Se Na " Don't you see how worried i am ? " I was like dude…
Friends can also be worried about you... I didn't see anything in that statement alone to be him forcing his feelings on her cos it was barely 2 seconds long. Maybe more will be revealed, but if I had a friend who was going through something like that I'd want them to know explicitly that they are not alone and there's someone who cares about them. Maybe I read the scene wrong though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've seen a number of people surprised he didn't recognise her as a teenager and I'm a little lost... Has he mentioned that incident as something significant in his life? Maybe I missed it. Cos why would he remember a girl he met briefly over a decade ago? I know it was a major event for Se Na, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was memorable for Ra Ik. Unless there's something I've missed so far, or maybe they'll write that in later. But realistically, he shouldn't remember her actually and that's alright too.
I broke down and watched the episode anyway.I do not get La Ik and Hye Joo's relationship at all. She seems delusional…
Ra Ik seems to have a habit of protecting people who hurt him because he believes he isn't worthy of anything good so they must be right on some level. It vexes me cos several people should've gotten slapped by now for their behaviour, including that idiot ex.
