the middle part was kinda boring before they got together imho BUT you can simply skip those scenes/watch that part in 2x speed if you feel bored, you won't miss anything and that's way it will become a normal paced romance :)

what I was saying is about your opinion of first semester. It's probably not the case for you but it's not like it can't be the case for others, or it has to be the same case for every single one just because it was for yours, right? You yourself said it's probably because where you live , so it's not an unbelievable/ unrealistic things if it happens with someone with different country/city/... tho. Just because one never eats octopus that doesn't mean no one ever can eat octopus or it's an unrealistic things to eat them. It really happened with one of my friends (no, it's not a love story but a family problem), it never effected him in anything and he is doing great now. Forgot that friend, even I never needed my marks of class 9/11 in anything (if they ever asked, i wrote whatever was in my mind, they never ask for prove for it unlike 10/12's marksheet), not even my dad or my cousin sister (who is in her mid 30s).

you mean the first semester course? is it really matters? It's like class 9 or 11, you can score low as long as you pass the exam, it won't effect the rest of your life nor like anyone gonna question you about it.
It was not even a big deal, the big deal was him choosing his major arts. But atleast you can see that him doing immature things in his teen age but he never do anything *after* that with his life. He was doing his best in the college even with all the rumours and problems and never gave up in his life and that's you can say he became a bit mature, tho not fully but a bit.

Didn't he like her since their childhood? Who remembers promises from when you are only 5 years old if you don't like a person? It was obvious enough that he liked her since their childhood because she was brave.
As for the female lead, it started from a crush to like. Yes she had a crush in the beginning but then didn't she fall for his personality? Besides being a top, he wasn't a cold person but rather was a easy going, helpful person and so she "fall" for him.

Edit : i went to check again since i watched it last year. She didn't like him in ep 2 nor had a crush on him. She pretty much disliked him.
It was in ep 3 when he gave her the doll and started to help her without her saying anything. She started to like him.

I'm not in my teens and I definitely enjoyed this a lot and didn't feel anything like you said "leads love each other because they are leads" . There was very much of obvious reasons for them to fall for each other and they fell for each other because of who they are tho, It's not like those love at first sight type (which i hate the most) . So i didn't get anything what you said. would you like to elaborate why you felt and which part you are saying? And what is this special treatment?
