All of them have same name and none of it is original since all of them are adaptation of a 暗戀·橘生淮南 Unrequited Love (2019) was the 1st adaptation of the novel then Unrequited Love (2021) and then this one My Blue Summer (2022)
I think this is the first adaptation of this novel so there is no remake
It is not similar to unrequited love but the novel which this movie is based on is written by the same writer- Ba Yue Chang An. You may have seen 3 remakes of unrequited love (暗戀·橘生淮南) but this is the 1st adaptation of 这么多年 novel which is not same/similar to unrequited love.

She said she never wanted to hide his son from him by her own will but she had to do it as he told him to not to show up in front of him. He had a serious conditions which can make him die anytime if she made a wrong decision at that time. If she told him everything on that time when he was already fighting with one attack, the hate he had for her that moment made him loose his life. She already explained him why she hided herself and his son from him as if they didn't existence in his world, it was never like she wanted it but she had to do it for his critical conditions.

the child custody period didn't stay long. It ended when the ML's sister came and explained everything to the FL and apologized to her for all. But they didn't become a official couple till 23 as after the ML confessed/ proposed to the FL in ep 17, the ML suddenly believed a stranger whom he never have met before and doubted about his childhood friend's death and questioned the FL. Realistically, she obviously will not be able to accept someone who just randomly believed on a stranger and sided by him and not by her and doubted her intentions. Though it was just a lazy writing to make some drama which didn't even make any sense.
