I mean everyone has different tastes and opinions in dramas. Someone's trash can be someone's treasure and the vice versa. There will be many dramas that are 10 for them but those dramas can be a 5 for you or even less. And there you will say the same like they are saying here. It all depends on people. Minority people will definitely hate what the majority likes lol. Well, i think as long as you enjoy a drama, why bothered by other's opinion? It's not that bad for you but may be it is that bad for them, Let them hate it. It won't affect anyone as long as they don't attack the viewers who enjoyed it.

well, 8.4 for a chinese drama is definitely not an average! It's between average and great. 7.9 - 8.2 is considered an average or good enough for a "Cdrama". Kdramas are overrated here so may be that's why you are confused about it. You will miss out many good enough cdramas if you consider 8.4 is an average. There is a huge difference between a 8.2 rated kdrama and a 8.2 rated cdrama and a 8.2 rated jdrama :)

It's a shame that's not how you can promote a drama. The main leads had the best chemistry and their relationship and the 1st half of the drama (ep 1 to 14) was one of the best out of all school dramas you have ever seen. But it was the 2nd half where the writer started to ruin the story, it's like s/he lost her/his interest from the drama and started to show their individual story, backstory, the drama started to focus on their career more, barely couple scenes and it ends abruptly.

Well there is 2 female lead, Huang Yu Xuan who is the main female lead and Chen Yun Ru who is the second female lead, both are look alike but they both are two different person. The main lead ( Li Zi Wei) loves Huang Yu Xuan and the 2nd male lead (Mo Jun Jie) loves Chen Yun Ru, he never likes Huang Yu Xuan. So it's not a love triangle.
Here, The main female lead(Huang Yu Xuan)'s soul time traveled and entered into Chen Yun Ru's body. So the 2 male lead will be confused sometimes but they will get to know the truth later.
